NOT Kid Friendly
By Karen, 7/13/08
Kids club is a whopping $90 per day (its free at the Four Seasons down the road) and a rollaway is $75 a night! Do your kids a favor and stay at the Four Seasons.

nice get away
By out of towner, 6/16/08
We had an ocean view room on the 6th floor away from construction. If you are put in the tower nearest construction, I can see the potential headache. But construction is limited to that tower and towards front of hotel. Valet was a mess upon leaving hotel, but it was Father's Day and alot of people were arriving. Rooms were spacious but bed was a little too firm (they should look into the heavenly bed experience) and pillow were nice and fluffy until you layed your head on them, then they "deflated". Staff and service were upbeat and prompt. Breakfast buffet in the temple orange was not worth the money.

A beautiful, accomodating stay!
By Debbie P, 7/21/07
We just returned from this hotel, and we had a fabulous time! The decor of the hotel is magnificent. The room (ocean view) was well maintained and cleaned twice a day. The ocean is a bit rocky at this beach, so you need to get over the rocks to swim. The pool and grounds were spotless. Food and beverage was quite high, as to be expected. You will need a car to travel, as it is not actually located in Plam Beach but in Manalapan. The beach and pool service, especially Jonathan, were excellent! There is a great Italian restaurant across the street (Villagio Italiano) with an excellent staff! All in all, worth the price!!!

Great Hotel
By ErinS, 7/15/07
Very few things bad about this hotel. 1. Service, service, service! You really can't complain. We had one unfortunate experience, but other than that it was stellar. 2. Food - The restaurants and room service were all quite good. The coffee was a little questionable - it was nice and strong, but not very tasty. Other than that, excellent! 3. Pool / Beach - Nice pool, a little shallow but not bad. Big spa compared to many hotels. The beach setup was also really great. The only complaint was they wouldn't leave enough towels at night (probably to discourage late night swimming). So we'd have to air dry a bit before going in. All pool/spa/beach access was through the main lobby. Basically, you're strutting your stuff when you walk through at midnight, soaked with no towel. Not too great, but tolerable. 4. Rooms - the beds aren't the most comfortable, particularly for the type of hotel, though the bedding was very soft. The bathrooms are nice and big. Wish the showers weren't clear glass. The robes weren't terribly soft. The mini bar was well stocked. The tv was nice and they had a special "ritz channel" that recycled euro-elevator music. Amusing. :) 5. Location - It's pretty secluded and not really near West Palm Beach. If you want to go to that area you'll be driving. Not necessarily a bad thing, but we found ourselves just staying in the hotel as opposed to exploring. Perhaps we were lazy?

Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach
WOW! Perfect Hotel Resort on the Beach. I had good fortune of staying here for several days on business...felt like a vacation. The hotel is worth all five stars. My room was upgraded to an exquisite suite facing the ocean. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming...not insincere in the least. Food was outstanding...best salads I've had in a long time...huge and healthy. Awesome pool and spa facilities...real aloe plants to cool sunburns on deck. You can rent wave runners, canoes, banana boats on the beach below. Lobby has a beautiful, large sitting area nearby for casual business conversations. Excellent business meeting and conference facilities. Hotel was recently remodeled and is working on getting wifi but each room has DSL easy link up. I definitely am returning...haven't been this relaxed since my trip to Bath, England. MUST HOTEL!

Ritz Carlton Palm Beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/04
Great Service. Our room was upgraded upon check in. The facility is very nice. The concierge had recommended dining in the lobby lounge during the nights that the band was scheduled to play. This is a bit loud and all oldies music with mostly older couples dancing in a very "40's" fashion. You will be eating dinner from a coffee or end table. Soliel (one of the full service restaurants) is very nice and highly recommended. One of the rooms that we stayed in was great, but one had odors like a dog had slept there and was lying on the furniture. I did see people with dogs staying at the hotel and while this is convenient for those families traveling with pets, the rooms should be segregated. The staff was great. I like to read, and very much enjoyed my afternoons on a sofa in the bar area ordering hot tea. Beware Florida has a ban on indoor smoking so do not light up any of the cigars that are for sale in the bar area. The decor as with all Ritz Carltons was very nice, and well maintained. There is a strip mall across the street with a great gourmet grocery store. This is great for lunch as they have a hot food case as well as produce, wine and beer. One of the painful things about staying in Ritz Carltons is that even the bar menu is quite costly. This gourmet grocery was a great find they feature different prepared foods daily. There is a home made ice cream place also in the same strip mall, I have 3 sons and they all enjoyed this very much. I would have easily given this a 5 star rating but the animal odor in the one room and the fact that the main restaurant "the Grill" was closed for renovations have forced me to rate it a solid 4 stars. If you stay here you will really enjoy yourself the pool is very nice as is the beach.

The concierge is happy to rent a car for you which will be delivered the following morning by the rental company.

I highly recommend that you allow the hotel to arrange your transportation to and from the airport, as this can all be put on your room tab, and is exactly the same cost as if you stand in line at the airport and reserve your own ride. If you don’t reserve your transportation through the hotel, be prepared to pay about $55 in cash for a van to transport you and you luggage one way from the airport. This amount will include the tip.
