nice CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN hotel, if you like CLEAN then this is a great place to stay. The staff is always friendly and carefull, I feel like my kids are safe in the pool and lobby and my stuff is safe in my room. At 2:30 in the morning (or any other wee hour) a staff member is standing at the front desk to help you. I have travelled a lot and that is a rare find! The keycards they use are a little dated so they lose their codes if left too close to cell phone, mp3 player, but they are always happy and available to reset them at any hour (bring your photo ID). Also, could serve evening meals on weekends. This is a great place to stay, walk to aquadic center (the hotel pool/jacuzi is also nice and clean), applebees, mcdonnalds, bakers square... 3 minutes drive to hu hut, guitar center, best buy, k-mart, and about 25 other places to eat and bars (looks like most of them are clean also). 5 minutes drive to jordan crossing theater (20plex) and mall. 15 minutes to adventureland. Clive Iowa is also a very nice, clean city to visit if you're looking for a short stay near Des Moines. The streets are well patroled and also clean. This weekend we hit the Art Center and Blank Park zoo with less than 30 minutes total drive time (more like 10 to the Art Center and 15 from there to the zoo). The Science Center is about 20 minutes, which is right downtown Des Moines. Ok, all done recommending This hotel!!!
