Great place to stay with Family
By Pamela, 05/21/09
My Husband and I stayed with our two young boys ages 4 and 15 months. The stay was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The rooms are well decorated and love the fact that the bed room is seperated from the living room. If you have children that love to be in the pool spend the extra couple of dollars and get the room with the patio to the pool area, it is very convenient for all. The weight room was a great space and had plenty of equipment to workout on. I would recommend this Hotel to Family and Friends and would stay again when visiting the area. It is located 20 mins from Downtown Sacto and is freeway friendly but not close enough that you can hear it in the Hotel. It was a great value and I believe our money was well spent. The stay at the hotel included a Hot Breakfast in the morning made to order and a relaxing reception in the evening with cocktails. Keep up the good work and thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a home away from home.

Lived here for 9 months
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/07
I stayed here for business for 9 months. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They always fixed any trouble with the reservations. The hotel also offers a great breakfast, cooked to order! The hotel is old. Some rooms don't smell very good and they are somewhat dingy, but very spacious! All the rooms were suites with a fold-out sofa in the living room and a fridge and stereo. I just brought my own air freshener. The Wi-Fi had trouble a few times when I was there, but for the most part, it worked. For where I needed to be, the location was perfect, but if you want to be close to downtown, it's a 20 minute drive. I probably would have liked to stay in the Marriott across the street, but the rates were prohibitive, so this worked.

Good value
By EmilyC, 07/10/07
Spacious rooms (bedroom with a sofaroom work room) with a comfortable bed. Easy to find with lots of parking. Room decor was heavy on red and a bit odd. Internet connection was slow. The free breakfast was cooked to order by a chef - a special treat. Recommended.

Mixed review
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/07/06
The room we had was very large, but was not clean. The heated pool was freezing. After leaving the hot tub, we found ourselves covered in a sandy subtance (yick)! The breakfast was very good, made to order, but most of the staff was very unfriendly.

Great for families and those with spouses who can't sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/04
My family of four have stayed often at these suites. It has been our hotel of choice in Sacramento over the years (back to when it was the Quality Suites). I really like the room layout. The room set up is great for those with kids as there are two TVs and a sliding door to close off the bedroom. No one has to walk into a sleeping area to access the bath during the night. We saved a lot of time and money with the cooked-to-order breakfast. Gave a great start to the day when we were in town for various sports tournaments. A car is needed but it is California after all!!

Very happy with Hallmark Suites
By htlcrtk, 06/17/04
We stayed at the Hallmark Suites in June 2004 and were very happy with the hotel. The room was quite large, had a microwave and empty refridgerator as well as a sink other than the bathroom sink. The pool was small, but no one was using it besides our kids, so it was more than large enough. Being a suite hotel, the kids had one room and we were in the other. A full cooked breakfast (for 4) was also included which made the room rate of $100 (after taxes) a real bargain. I would definitely stay again if I didn't need to stay in downtown Sacramento.
