Regaalis Hotel, Mysore

Worst Staff.. untrained, unprofessional.. the swimming attenders are seen busy playing table tennis instead of attending to customers....totally poor serive

This hotel is as helful as any Indian hotel, the food is excellent and the staff also The hotel is easy to find adn is walking distance of the railway station

I stayed there before and after the renovations. I liked it a lot more before they renovated it. You don't get the same service there as you do in the US but the place was very charming, the room had plenty of space and it was fairly quiet. The staff was nice. They have a beauty parlour where you can get your nails, hair and face done for a fraction of what you pay home. They do henna tattoos too. There's an outside restaurant that I loved. Food is ok, they had western cousine as well as Indian. You can smoke in the restaurants and waiting areas (in your room too). Room had a nice bathroom. It had a bathtub (with shower), toilet, sink, plenty of surface.

By chance it was my birthday when I visited Mysore last time, I had taken my wife for a dinner at Southern Star a restaurant located in the Lobby, it was quite busy with all the tourists around. I went through the buffet and selected some things, taste was okay but hygienically it was not so well organized need more training for staff and experience people Since I travel a lot and spend most of my time in well known hotels and basically I belong to Mysore and I wish this hotel live up to its standards of its name and stars

southern star is not just a hotel but a multi-purpose five star place it is centrally located in themysore city the services r gr8,the staff r friendly and polite,the very outlook is so wonderful never ever seen bfore.the food is superb all varities of food r available one can swin,one can dance and sing in the parties arranged by hotel can spend a very nice time abt the rooms r fully fecilitated with duroflex double bedcomputer,tv,phone ,cupboard etc overall its heavens on earth
