We look forward to returning!
By ,
First the room was very clean and sheets were comfy! The only downside is no continental breakfast or free parking but the staff is friendly. Even the concierge on twitter @Hyattconcierge great rest stop on our road trip!

Beware of their Cancellation Policy
By ,
My employee was scheduled to attend a conference at the Hyatt Regency She called the 800 number and made the reservation. When asked if she was part of a group she responded she was attending a conference at the hotel and the agent gave her the group rate. The confirmation showed a 24-hour cancellation policy. When she canceled a week prior to the conference, the hotel charged her for the entire three night stay. Even though her confirmation, as well as cancellation confirmation, showed a 24 hour cancellation policy the hotel comptroller said the group rate was non-refundable and the hotel has declined to refund the charges. If you are attending a conference there you cannot rely on the cancellation policy printed on your receipts, so please beware. I would recommend staying at an alternative hotel.

Great Staff, Great Restaurant, Decent Rooms
By ,
In spite of some of the negative reviews I've seen listed here, my experience was exceptional. How a staff deals with unexpected problems for which no one is to blame reveals much about management's core attitude. When I discovered a leak in my bathroom ceiling 2/3 through my stay, the staff upgraded me immediately. That would have been just fine, but upon my return several days later (I was flying out the next morning), I found a card from engineering apologizing for the prior leak problem and a gift box containing a beautiful Native American pot. Plus, the general manager authorized a free meal voucher for two at their wonderful McGrath's restaurant (the meal was creative and well prepared). Having spent several days at this hotel, I met quite a few of their staff and can honestly say everyone did their level best to provide excellent service. Any hotel is only as good as its staff and all too often hotel staff fall way short in making customers feel like they matter. This crew knows the value of good customer relations. I will certainly stay here again when I return to Albuquerque.

The greatest staff ever
By ,
Recently we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque. The staff was outstanding. Every time we passed an employee of the hotel they asked if they could assist us. I have never encountered such a genuine staff in all my travels. The guest rooms are spacious and updated. We stay in Albuquerque at least 4 times per year and this was our first stay at Hyatt by far the best stay in 5 years. We will stay at Hyatt Regency Albuquerque for all future stays.

Dirty Hotel
By ,
Next time I will stay at a Half-way house I am sure it will be much cleaner! After reading their review "Dear Reader" I thought I would go ahead and try it. I believe they put this in to make excuses for bad service and a dirty room. To try and blame it on a competitor. Give me a break! Room service was slow and rude! Food cold!!

Wonderful weekend!
By ,
My husband, two teenaged daughters and I stayed at the Hyatt from June 18 - June 20. The rooms were VERY nice and VERY clean. I do not like a dirty bathroom, these were clean. We had enough towels. The air conditioning was perfect. The view was awesome. We had a relaxing time and would definitely stay again. The only thing I was not happy with was that we had to pay $12 a night for parking. That was an extra $36. I guess I shouldn't complain, our car was very safe in that parking garage, it was just expensive. All the staff was helpful and courteous. One of the plusses of staying in downtown Albuquerque is that there is always some kind of entertainment nearby. ONE MORE THING: We loved that we could have STARBUCKS in the early morning. PLEASE TRY THE: white chocolate mocha...mmmmm good!

Nice Place If You LikeTo Witness Crime
By ,
I was here on business. Room was the WORST! Room did not have hot water! Dirty bath tub. Went to eat at the restaurant... A fight broke out! Walked around the outside homeless people everywhere! Wanting money. I would have expected better from a Hyatt property! Front desk is rude! This place will nickle and dime you! They charge for internet. (Had connection issues). This hotel is run down! Dont make the mistake that I did. Stay somewhere else!! If you like to stay in a high crime area and witness it this place is for you! Very expensive for a run down, dirty unsafe hotel!
