Amazing Place
By esq, 11/03/08
Stayed 4 nights here on my honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. This place made the Westin Maui look like a Motel 6. The pools are awesome and the lazy river with the waterfalls was so refreshing to walk up and down all day, plus they stay open 24 hours! Their saltwater lagoon was also really cool with the ocean being a little rough the time i was there. Use your AAA membership and go for the Grand Club package. We recieved access to their Grand Club which included Continental breakfast and a fantastic cocktail hour with food. Well worth the money right there. Also gives you access to the spa which looks like it came from a commercial. It felt like someone had a eucalyptis scented candle underneath me the whole time and we were outdoors! When I checked out I told the nice young lady that I felt the place was out of my league. Absolutely wonderful.

We've stayed at many Hyatts, but this one is by far the BEST! The grounds are stunning with scenic views everywhere you look.

Awesome!
By Michael, 06/26/08
I fell in love with this place. The staff and service were very attentive and talkative, the grounds and pool areas are beautiful, and despite what you may have heard you can go in the ocean. There are some rocks here and there so wear some sort of footwear. But I went and in and bodysurfed and several boarders were there too.

This is our favorite hotel anywhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/07
We were first at the Hyatt for our Honeymoon in 2000 and have been back 5 times since. We have compared to the Royal Hawaiian, Hyatt on Maui and the Waikoloa on the Big Island, But nothing says Hawaii like The Grand Hyatt! The ambiance is incredible and the service top notch! Our favorite is sitting in Stephenson's Library on the weekend when the band is playing. We always seem to hear the play the "Girl for Impanema" (sp?), but since we have heard it there so many times, it just seems to be part of the experience. It is a great place for an afternoon cocktail too. They have games behind the bar and you really relax and enjoy. We will be back in Feb 2009.

Had an awesome time!
By Kristen, 08/02/07
My husband and I went to the Grand Hyatt for our honeymoon. We had a great time. They upgraded us to ocean/pool view for free! The pool is gorgeous and the Mai-tai drink at the bar there is to die for, its all my husband talks about, still!!! We cannot wait to go back, the Hyatt there definitely contributed to making our trip to Hawaii the trip of a lifetime.

great hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/07
This is the best hotel i have/will ever stay at. Three pools, waterslide, located just outside of Poipu (Poipu is ushally the suniest part of the island) it is a great place to stay. I especially liked the live music ever night (i even went to it when i wasn't staying at the hotel)

Can't wait for next year!!
By DonnaW, 04/30/07
As many people we were return visitors to this resort and island. Once again the Hyatt didn't disappoint! The grounds are lush and everyday you see something new. There is something for everyone here and the staff can make suggestions for those that need it. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Can't wait for next year!!

Beautiful
By Sheryl, 07/24/06
Although I live on Kauai, my friend and I spend two days on "vacation" at the Resort. Excellent service, nice room, incredible pool, and stellar hotel. Never made it to the spa but I hear it is amazing. A perfect Hawaiian vacation.

We definitely can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/05
WOW - the staff were so accommodating. Our room was perfectly situated just far enough away from the hustle (what hustle) and close enough to hear the waves break. The beach/pools were outstanding. We had some fine sushi and drinks in the study bar (there's a great pool table there). We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful massage at the Spa - and after that we were invited to a Luau on the beach - thanks! WOW
