Made the trip worthwhile.

We've used the internet for all sorts of travel arrangements in the past. Sometimes the pictures of the advertised hotel or spa or garden, whatever, are accurate and other times the reality is a huge distortion from the truth. At the Hotel Elysees - Union in Paris, we were amazed that the reality was even better than what was advertised. Not only were we placed in an exclusive area of Paris, but we got a fantastic package price. Our Hotel Elysees room had a balcony that looked out onto the Eiffel Tower just a few blocks away. Every night before bed we looked out at the lit up monument, and every morning looked out at what would be our point of reference for the day.
The staff greeted us in French and then quickly switched to English when we first arrived. They were able to answer all questions we had during our stay, they became involved with our exciting adventures, were most pleased to bring up hot chocolate or coffee, and allowed us to use their internet for quick emails home or flight confirmations.
I can highly recommend the Hotel Elysees -Union in Paris to anyone. The room was plently large, the beds, room and bathroom were cleaned daily with new fresh towels daily, it was not a noisy city location, but very convenient to several Metro stations and main avenues for walking to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees and the Arc. There is a market right beside the hotel for buying wine, fruits and veggies and bread, a little deli for quick sandwiches and coffee on the other side, and several ATM machines across the street. The location couldn't have been better anywhere else I don't think.
