Hotel Elysees - Union, Paris

Very convenient location. Very nice, friendly workers. The room I had was a triple. Although it looked small, I had three beds, so actually not too small. It was clean, especially the bathroom that was wonderful so clean and large. I just loved it and would like to live there again. I didn't take the food in the hotel, but the next door cafe was excellent, not expensive. However, it only opened until 2:30 pm. Walk to everywhere. Don't need subway, although only two mins away.

Great location and easy to get to everything. Very nice staff and includes breakfast. For the money well worth it. Nice quiet neighborhood. I stayed here with my wife and teenage son for eight days.

The service was excellent from the friendly front desk people and the bar man through the maid with good English who helped me figure out how to use the phone. The room was basic, but very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located close to Metro stops, the airport bus, restaurants and shopping. I recommend it!

My wife, daughter, son and I stayed here from 2/17 through 2/25 and could not have been happier. The rooms were delightful (a little peeling paint even added to the charm); the location is fabulous and the staff could not have been more interested in helping us have a fantastic vacation. We recommend it highly.

Hotel was very cute with spacious rooms. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and recommend to others.

This was the place we stayed at in March. I found it to be a great central location to everything.

We just returned from a 9 night stay at the Elysees Union and we loved it. The location is incredible- you can walk to the Arc and to the Eiffel tower. Our balcony had a view of the Eiffel tower -we watched it sparkle most every night. Room was small but comfortable - bathroom was spacious with bath/shower. Staff is very nice and all spoke excellent English. Terrific restaurants nearby and there is a small grocery right next door. Highly recommended.

My husband and I go over to France approx. every 6-8 months to see his sister and our nephews. We always stay a few nights in Paris. On this recent trip(April 2005) we stayed here. We had a room with a balcony. Every morning and evening we would go out onto this and had a GREAT view of the Eiffel Tower. We were only a five minute walk from the Champs Elysees. There was a metro station nearby. The tower took about 15 mins to walk to. The hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was very quiet. We did have one day where there was no maid service. This was taken care of as soon as we alerted the desk. They apologized and told us that because of the renovations that are going on the maids were busy cleaning the rooms that were ready to be reopened. The only complaint that we did have was that all the cafes, bakeries, and wine shops closed a lot earlier than in other areas. We asked about this and were told that this was the business district. Things close when the business day closes. This meant that we had to walk every night to have dinner on the Champs Elysees (not a real hardship for me!) This would be a great place for families with smaller children. There is not a lot of street traffic noise. We have told all of our friends that if they want a room with a romantic view to stay here and request a room with a balcony. We will definately stay here again!

This was my third time in Paris an easily the best. I never stayed in the 16th add. and it took a five minute walk from the hotel to realize this was something I should have done before. Hotel is close to Tour Eiffel the Arc and many other great attractions. The cafes around are great and not to mention the market right next door. Very clean and the staff was great! Kudos

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our accommodations pleasurable. Breakfast was tasty with fresh crousonts and breads everyday. The hotel is conviently located just two blocks from the metro. It has a grocery store right next door and three restaurants right down the street. We walked to the Arc De Triomphe and then continued to walk, shop and dine on the Champs Des Elyees many times. I would recommend touring the Arc De Triomphe during the day and night. The view is breath-taking. Our room was comfortablly charming overlooking the pretty court yard. It was too cold in February to enjoy this part of the hotel, but one can imagine enjoying breakfast there or relaxing sipping a cocktail after touring Paris all day. What wa wonderful vacation! Yes, we would highly recommend this hotel and hopefully get back there some day ourselves!
