Nice stay

After reading some of the whiny reviews on this site, we did not expect much. We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, efficient hotel with a friendly and professional staff. Our room was more than adequate. Very comfortable and the tv worked just fine. The breakfast was also a surprise. We had an omlet and waffles, oj, tea and coffee - all very good - and complimentary. We would gladly stay at this hotel again. One criticism that was made in an earlier review was accurate - the hotel was hard to spot - I suggest looking for Taco Bell - and make your turn into the hotel driveway there.

You get what you pay for

This is the second time I have stayed there, I went back this time for the breakfast buffet and the reasonable rates. The beds are old and hard, I couldn't watch the DVD I brought with me because the TV's are too old, and you have to pay $5 to rent the DVD player for the night. Also M-F breakfast is taken away at 9am, when I am on vacation I like to sleep in, so needles to say I missed out on breakfast a majortiy of the time. The exercise equipment was very old, and looked like it was from the 80's. Overall you get way you pay for, if you want a basic affordable room with a breakfast then this hotel works fine.

We were not to impressed with this motel. The beds seemed old and worn out, and the rooms were not very clean. The breakfast was good, but the staff seemed irritated. I wouldnt stay there again if I had an alternative.

Wow, what a nice place

It's been awhile since I've stayed in a Howard Johnson and my experience here has made me consider HOJO more seriously. Nice room and lobby and exercise room, except the treadmill didn't work correctly. Great free breakfast (with real omlets) and complementary lounge in the evening. Friendly service and internet access. Good location and reasonable rates.
