Great Service and Wonderful Accommidations
By ,
Just got back and can't wait to go back. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, September 15-17th. It was through Priceline so we got a great deal, only $ 80 a night for each of the rooms. When we went to check in, we got a regular room on the fifith floor next to the pool, but for the other 2 rooms, they put us in the 12th floor, in the Prince Suite. Could not have asked for a better view of the marina and the beach. We received wonderful service all through out our stay and the wonderful service continued after checking out.

Favorite Hotel....
By ,
So accommodating.....They only have a limited number of rooms with lanais...I obviously mess that up, and I could not do the elevator. 10 minutes later, they handed me a key, and had someone escort me up the fire stairs. Room was beautiful, over looking the marina, and it had a lanai (they were listening)! This will be my third time at the Prince...it is my daughter's graduation present, and I know it will be wonderful! Japanese hospitality at its best!!!!

Loved the view
By ,
We stayed during our honeymoon and it was the perfect choice. The location was perfect and the hotel itself was amazing. The service we received was above and beyond. The bed was sooo comfy and the room very spotless. We did have a problem with the coffee pot but when I called down a new one was at our door within minutes. even though I had reservations about spending the extra money, our vacation would not have been as nice had we stayed somewhere else.

Great Honeymoon!
By ,
I booked this hotel through priceline.com's name your price. The hotel was everything we wanted for our honeymoon! It was the perfect location... it was over the marina which was an AMAZING view at all times of the day. The hotel isn't right on the beach, which allowed us quiet relaxing evenings. The short walk to downtown Waikiki was always a quick stroll through the park or using there convenient shuttle which helped when the beach bags/shopping bags were heavy. It had the ocean views without the ocean traffic and noise. Every one was incredibly friendly; the front desk, activities coordinator was very helpful, and even the gift shop attendants were smiling ear to ear! Lastly, the food was delectable (We went to the Prince Court for several meals!)-room service was fairly priced and also very tasty! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, whether business or pleasure! We will be returning again soon!!!

highly recommended!
By ,
me and my husband stayed at the prince august 2007 and it was great! the staff was very friendly and greated us with a warm towel. my only complaint is it took housekeeping a little longer than normal to clean up our room. the hotel is a bit older, but it is still kept very clean. the view of the harbor and pool was absolutely beautiful every minute of the day. the windows are huge and you can open them for a better view. it is in a great location, not quite in the middle of all the craziness. and if you plan on riding activity buses, normally the prince is the first hotel stop. could be a good thing being picked up first or a bad thing depending on how punctual you are. valet parking is pretty expensive but its well worth it if you rent a car. we didnt get around to trying any of the restaurants, but we certainly will next year!

Loved it!
By ,
We stayed here for 2 nights of our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it. They knew it was our honeymoon, and gave us one of the top floors with a great view (huge floor to ceiling windows!) and even had champagne and chocolates in our room! The bathrooms are huge and beautiful, with a separate shower and bath. We were very well cared for, and I highly recommend this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the edge of Waikiki beach and close to lots of restaurants and things to do.

Great location & friendly staff
By ,
Stayed: July 9th to July 11th Guests: 5 Rooms: 714 and 720 Pros: Convenient Location, Friendly Staff, Nice Rooms Cons: Expensive Parking, Slow Front Desk, Limited in-Hotel restaurants This hotel is in a very convenient location, near the Ala Moana shopping center, Convention center & at the entrance to Waikiki. The hotel provides a FREE shuttle into Waikiki from 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm, making three stops in the heart of Waikiki. The bell desk and valet staff were very friendly and helpful, yet professional. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, but are showing signs of wear & tear. Like any hotel in Waikiki, nightly parking is quite expensive. For valet parking, we paid $21 a night, ouch! Check In at the front desk was a little slow on Monday July 9th, but other than that, service staff was first rate all the way. Restaurants in the hotel are limted to the Prince Court Restaurant (Pacific Rim) and Hakone Restaurant (Japanese). However, around the corner, there is a Chart House Steak & Seafood restaurant, overlooking the Yacht Harbor. A Outback Steakhouse and Red Lobster Restaurant, fronting Ala Moana Blvd. At the nearby Ala Moana Shopping Center, there's a Morton's Steakhouse, Longhi's (Seafood/Italian), Assagio's (Italian), Bubba Gump's, CPK, Pineapple Room (Macy's), Mariposa (Neiman Marcus), Island's, Romano Macaronni Grill and tons of fast casual eateries in the food court. Cancellation Policy
By ,
I would strongly recommend that anyone who has travel plans that may change NOT stay in this hotel. Their cancellation policy requires that you give them four days notice of a cancellation or you will be charged for a one-night's stay. They still charge you $25.00 even when you give four days notice of cancellation.
