Nice place to stay
What we like about staying there is the convenience and ease to get to the location. The staff at the desk are always extremely helpful and friendly. We've stayed several times primarily in the condos. The rooms are very comfortable, and for the most part nice. However, the couple of times we've been in a 'rental' vs. one that is owned and it was not very well cared for. This last time we stayed, the carpet was EXTREMELY stained--it didn't look like it had been cleaned for years. The fabric on the dining room chairs & bar stools was just as equally stained. When a 5 & 6 year old refuse to sit on the floor because it smells & looks "dirty" you have to wonder how well it has been cleaned. The downside is parking--it's uncontrolled and people park in places that prohibit passing through the parking lot sometimes. The last few times we've stayed, there have been a lot of 20-something partiers. I have nothing against them--I was young once and did my share. However, there is such a thing as 'consideration' for others. The fact the pool is monitored to keep "partying" after hours is nice. We've been adjacent to the pool twice and heard people being run out at 2 a.m. It's tough to keep kids asleep when adults are carrying on outside. Perhaps the property needs to consider posting a "quiet time" for the consideration of the majority. Price-wise, it is beginning to put itself out of our range--$200/night is a bit much (to us) when you're spending a majority of time on the water, and this is only someplace to sleep. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would we go back...yes. Sometimes you have to take a little bad with the good.
