Blue Water Resort, South Yarmouth

This hotel is right on the beach and it is a good beach with tidal washing, firm sand and good scope for walking. The rooms are spacious and many have sea views. There are indoor and outdoor pools. The staff are immensely helpful. Breakfast is not included and on two days of our stay the breakfast service was very inefficently managed, which cost us time. Thereafter, more staff were put on. All in all, though, a good place to stay. We found housekeeping to be a paticular strength. We would go back without hesitation.

I LOVED the location. Right on the ocean. The unit was ok. it was clean but maybe could have been updated for the price you pay. But to have the ocean at your feet and time ALONE with my husband is priceless. We had a beautiful time which created a memory forever. once again PRICELESS. The staff was very nice and knew what the best things to do were. Over all, putting the unit nedding updateing(its not bad though) its WOUNDERFULL.

I have been to many hotels and living in a tourist area I know what to expect from Hotels and this one met many needs. My first priority was for my 2 boys to be someplace where they would have fun, and they were never bored. We picked this place for the indoor pool since were were going at a time that it was too cold and rainy for the outdoor one. The kids loved it! And despite the weather there was a ton for the kids to do. I personally had not been to Cape Cod since I was about 7 so I was not sure what there was to do for the kids so I asked the staff. They were soooo helpful they gave us so many ideas that we could not fit them all into the weekend! The rooms were very nice and surprisingly large! The only complaint I had was both my husband and I are very tall people and we are used to our California King sized bed and the beds were a little too small for us. But that was the only problem we had. The location is great! It was right outside our door! The kids had the best time walking on the beach, running around in the water etc! This is a resort hotel that is just right for families. It is what you are going to find in many of the tourist towns that have their seasons during only certain months. It is not the ritz carlton or any fancy resort, there is no bell service or carrying of your luggage. But with all the hotels I have been to I have NEVER had those amenities offered to me and I think I am perfectly capable of carrying my own things anyway. So I guess what I am saying it is not a hotel for the snobbish people, but if you want a nice hotel where you can have a lot of fun with your family then this is the place to go! Enjoy!

We found this place on the Internet and gave it a try. What a great hotel. The beach is great, the views from the rooms are amazing (especially the ones facing the ocean). There are plenty of chairs and unmbrellas for use on the beach. There is even a great hot tub for the guests to use. I was there for four days and I did not want to leave.
