A great place to stay
By Dog Pound, 01/09/10
The Hooters Hotel & Casino is located of the strip . The prices are very reasonable compare to other Hotel & Casinos . The Hooters girls at the front bar are prompt and friendly . Never had bad service either ,although checking in can be delayed . The casino is small compared to other casinos. The casino waitress is always on the ball. Hardly a wait for a drink .One positive thing though, security is right on top and have a ongoing presence . The rooms are very easy to find . They are decent size rooms for the price The Hooters Hotel is decent stay for the money and the staff and security are tops ,hands down . I would recommend Hooters Hotel & Casino to anybody who a bang for their buck

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/09
I would not recommend this place for anyone. The rooms are cheap and dirty. You can hear your neighbors shut their doors, flush their toilets. We stayed on the 11th floor and were woken up because we could hear people talking and screaming from the pool. The windows, bathrooms, carpets were disgusting. There were holes in the bathroom walls. There is no blankets, just sheet and a comforter that slipps off the bed every few minutes. The heater/cooler doesn't shut of automatically, so you have to wake up through out the night to turn it off. There is no fan in the bathroom, no hair dryer. It isn't worth 70 dollars, for sure. If you want cheap, you would be better off staying at motel 6 just across the street; I'm sure it would have been cheaper and cleaner. Not even close to a three star hotel, maybe 1 1/2 stars.

Great for the Price

Great location... Not exactly the Bellagio or Venetian by any means, but well worth the price-tag. Early check-in was a breeze.

Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/09
Worst Experience We have Ever had in Vegas. We visited second time Vegas and stayed in Hooters for 3 nights. We were so upset by everything with this hotel. 1. We booked this hotel through hotel.com. When we checked in they gave us different room then we have selected and we have paid for in advance. There was only 1 person at the front desk and long queue. We waited for almost an hour. 2. There was only 2 persons at Valet parking and long queue of cars too. 3. Next morning we faced a terrible problem of water blockage in bath tub. We called 5-6 times to front desk, Maintenance, Operator etc. Staff was rude and not helping. Waited for 1.5 hr for engineer. We missed our show. 4. The same day we came back at the end of the day and found our keys are not working. We were on 16th floor and did back and forth to front desk 3-4 times to get keys fixed. Nobody cared.wasted 1 hour again in hall. 5.agian there was a problem with toilet. Water was running on and we couldn't use it for long time. Same situation with maintenance help as previous day. No end of waiting for enginear. 6. We expected some kind of apology/compensation at the time of check out for all the troubles we have faced but completely ignored. Stay away from this place. you would find better place on the strip or close to.

Will go back
By Christina, 08/31/09
When I booked this hotel it was for the price, I paid $20 per night for a bungelow. When I got there, I have to tell you I was a little scared I made a mistake when I saw the parking lot and even worse the elevator. However, when we got in the hotel I was pleasently suprised. It is small but nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was even upgraded to a tower room overlooking the Strip :) It's not the Bellagio but again I only paid $20!!! The pool was nice and relaxing. At the Roulette table had a player get a little stupid with me I talked to the Pit Boss and they took care of him right away. We will be back. The one down side is there is only 2 restaurants but MGM is across the street and they have lots to choose from, they also have the monorail there.

My stay was pretty good
By Cidney, 06/22/09
It may sound dumb, but the fabric that the comforter is made from is awful. The entire comforter kept sliding off one side or the other all night every night. I kept waking up with only the sheet and had to get out of bed to fix it--several times each night. Also, they had a fire drill at 5:00 a.m. I jumped out of bed after getting to sleep around 2:00 a.m. and scrambled down 11 flights of stairs only to discover that the gambling downstairs was going full-force! I was very angry at the time. They could at least have waited until a little later to have the drill. My stay was definitely worth the money, even though the "hot tub" was merely lukewarm when i went hoping to relax a bit before going to bed. Otherwise, the room was clean and nice--nothing fancy, but that's exactly why I chose Hooters in the 1st place.

Great smaller hotel!
By TimC, 04/17/09
The Hooters Hotel has a great location (MGM, NY NY, Excalibur corner) and is only a 2 minute walk to MGM. We (my fiance and I) stayed in a Bungalow room which is in a small 2-story building surrounding the pool. NO ELEVATORS!! And you're about 100 feet from the casino. Look out your window and there's the pool area. All for about $35/night Room was very clean and the cleaning staff was nice. We had 1 King bed and it was very comfortable. Room is decorated in Hooters colors and there is a pub table with 2 bar stools. Pam (bartender) in Pete and Shorty's was great as were most of the Hooter girls. There wasn't anything that we didn't like about the hotel and will definitely stay there again. If you want the grandness and glitz and glamour, then stay at the Wynn. If you don't mind walking and having a more "cozy" hotel, then this is great. I read all of these reviews (complaints) about the room decor, a chipped tile in the bathroom, a small rust stain at the patio door, a small gym (they have gyms in Vegas?!), etc... Who really goes into a hotel room, much less in Vegas, and examines it? The bed I understand, but how much are you really in your room? Remember, this is Hooters Hotel in Las Vegas. If you like to go out and have a good time then this is perfect. Comfy bed, good atmosphere, nice people, and a great location. That's what important to us. I recommend the hotel to anyone who looks for those things.

Don't go here!!! Run the other way!
By Jami, 04/13/09
Where do I start? We stayed in a bungalow room that faced the pool (instead of the parking lot) which you think would be nice. Well, think again. If you love music at a level 10 from morning until after midnight & the sound of children screaming-this is the room for you. I called the front desk manager (Frank) who told me that the music was only played from 12 noon until 10pm. Well, the next night, the music was on way past 11pm and the manager (some woman) told me, "Oh no, it can go on after midnight, especially on the weekends. I had to leave a note to housekeeping what to clean every day because somehow they missed the mold in the tub, the light bulbs that needed replaced (which never got done) and to unclog the tub. And God forbid they leave you more than one roll of toilet paper in the room. One on the spinner, that is all you get. We had to let the shower run about 2 minutes before the hot water ever came on and if anyone in the surrounding rooms is using their shower, forget it-you aren't getting any hot water. 2 of my 5 days, I had to take a shower in the gym locker room to get hot water. There was NEVER any hot water out of the bathroom sink. The site claims that all bungalows come with safes, hair dryers, and coffee makers....No they don't. I had to call for a hair dryer and it's curcuit-clicker on it was a hassle. I had to keep clicking it like a lighter to get it to work. The carpets are filthy. I walked from my room at one end of the hall to the ice machine in my socks. When I got back to the room, they were black. I accidently locked myself out of my room. When security showed up, they didn't have me listed as being in the room at all. The gym is good but there is nothing to clean the equipment with after you are done....gross. The location is the ONLY good thing about this place.

I wasn't impressed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/08/09
Oh, I liked looking at the Hooters girls ( had to remind myself not to stare) but that was the only good thing about the place. My tiny room ( 97 bucks for a Friday night) had a dirty sink. It was just a cheap little room like you'd expect to see on the east end of downtown. The 24 hour restaurant, "Dan Marino's" had prices so high, I opted for two sandwiches from a nearby gas station. I realize that when it comes to gambling, luck is involved, but these machines were so tight, I went through a lot of money really quick. One of the worst gambling experiences I've had. Gambling is not the name of the game here. It's mainly young people walking around to see and be seen (think : spring break) If that's what you want, this is the place. But it will cost you! A simple draft beer, if you're not gambling : $4.50. I wouldn't go back.
