Night on the Town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/07
The hotel's location was perfect for the restaurants and the ballet. Everything was a short walk on the Saturday night that we arrived. On Sunday we toured the historic area which was just a short cab ride away. My sisters and I found everyone friendy and helpful. Our rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable. This was by far one of the prettiest hotel rooms that I have ever stayed in.

Anniversary in Philadelphia
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/07
The bedding and pillows were fabulous! Location was ok was disapointed that we were in an area where everything closed at 5:00. Bring comfortable shoes if touring all tourist locations are a walk from hotel. Rooms weren't as luxurios as expected. We could hear everything in our room including our neighbors alarm clock.

Spoil yourself, this is worth it
By Bill, 03/22/07
Wow! The Park Hyatt does it all! I've stayed at quite a few hotels in Center City, and this is the best I've ever experienced. The staff is excellent, it seemed that everyone knew our names and was always ready to make just about anything happen. Restaurant reservations, last minute spa appointments, suggestions on local attractions, they do it all. Everyone was professional and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous, the ammenities are luxurious. I even enjoyed the soap and shampoo. Club XIX is in the building and makes for a great place to end the evening with a drink. You definitally pay a nice price to stay here, this is more like a special occasion place, but it is worth it. Such a great location, so many great restaurants and nightlife within walking distance you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to experience Philadelphia.

I really like this hotel and it has become a steady place for me to stay in Philadelphia. It is centrally located in downtown Philly and in the heart of the Arts, Entertainment and Shopping District! It's old world charm and fabulous architecture are inspiring!

The down comforter and pillows were just the best! Comfort and outstanding service is second to none - I will not stay elsewhere when traveling into Philly for a night on the town with my husband!

Memories of a lifetime
By Kellie, 09/24/05
My fiancee had worked in Philadelphia and also went to law school at night. He didnt get to experience the hotel atmosphere. Our first weekend away when we began dating was at the Bellevue. We walked in to this breathtaking lobby and new we picked a very special hotel. Upon check in, we were graciously given champagne and witnesses a beautiful wedding reception. Our room had a very intimate romantic feel, hence, breakfast in bed was a must. We travelled after that, but the Park Hyatt was one of our favorite-we even looked at possibility of our wedding there. My fiancee was killed in a motorcycle accident, so our wedding will not happen, however, the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue remains one of the most memorable and magical places I will have ever stayed. I will always love this hotel for being such a special setting in my life-it is a truly magical place to be in love.

elegance and service
By MHgirrrll, 09/15/05
I love the Park Hyatt! The facility is timeless and is the epitome of Philadelphia old world elegance. Looking forward to the unveiling of their rennovations to their Food and Beverage space. The rooms are the finest in the luxury market hands down! Attending a special event in their function space special indeed!

Great Location, Interesting History
By GeoSales, 09/13/05
I stayed here for almost 7 months (weekdays) while on a consulting project. The location is great--downtown Center City. Walk to shops, restaurants, sights, etc. Some of the rooms are a little worn down, and the fact that they are trying to maintain the original "rustic" charm of the hotel only exaccerbates it sometimes. Otherwise, a great property. Check out the window views from the ballroom area--nice sweeping panorama of the city and the river. Views from the restaurant is cool too--nice, NY-style views while you have your meal. Staff is generally friendly, but somewhat snobbish and arrogant. Housekeeping staff is great! Guests have access to the attached 4,000 sq. ft. sports complex, which I think is one of the BEST features!
