Holiday Inn Exp Stes West, Bradenton

This is the best hotel I have found in Bradenton! Clean, comfortable, & convenient. The staff are friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend it.

I traveled March of 2008 and found the hotel to be excellent. Rooms were very nice and the bed linens were like a resort quality hotel. I will be going again next year.

Ive read some of the negative comments that prevous guests have sent in but i would like to point out that it is 2008 and it is a Holiday Inn Express now. Over 2 million dollars were put into the improvement of the hotel; breakfast has excellent food, need bedding and matresses are so comfy and a great staff that is was so helpful with any question or concern that i had. Also, the location is great, there are so many restaurants in the area n the best part is that the beach was 10 minutes away. I had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends.

After reading (with surprise) the previous negative reviews, I thought I would chime in. We have stayed at this property two times, October/November of 2003 (stayed in suite), and then again in February of 2004 (stayed in standard room). Then, it was The Park Inn, part of the Comfort Inn & Suites chain. Both times we stayed on the 2nd floor. They were remodeling upper floors. If I would have NOT had previous positive experiences, I would not be here now looking to again make a reservation. I found the staff polite, the rooms clean, the pool great. Basically the opposite experience of previous posts on this place. As we checked out in February of 2004, the Pittsburg Pirate baseball club was checking in for spring training. Before booking, I think I'll give the Park a call and find out for myself how things are nowadays.

There is no service at this hotel. Do not stay here unless you bring your own sheets and towels.

My experience: Impertinent front desk staff that act as if they are doing one a favor by condescending to rent one a filthy, smelly room. How is this place still in business??

This hotel is way over priced for what it is. The non-smoking room smelled damp and like stale smoke. The overall condition of the room was piss poor to say the least. I was extremely disappointed and felt as if I had been totally ripped off. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

A staff member started calling my teenage step daughter and making lewd comments and when I complained at the desk, nothing was done about it.....The jacuzzi was so hot it caused 2nd degree burns and the staff could not adjust it, ......dirty rooms, half of the lights were shorting out and every time you sat on the bed the light would go out.....dirty fold out beds in the halls, icemaker didn't work, bathrooms were filthy and the grout was disgusting. Overall it was overpriced and a true pit, I should have slept in my truck!!!!!! Plus directions to the hotel were inaccurate, you can't make a left turn onto the street because of concrete islands and the hotel sign was missing so it was next to impossible to find!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

When I read the review of "I wouldn't let my dog stay here", I thought the reviewer was just being extreme; they weren't. In fact, I wouldn't even let a dead dog sleep here. The sheets had blood stains and god-knows-what-other-fluids-they-were stains on them; the sink was coated with mucus; the shower curtain was black with mildew; the reek of stale smoke in the no-smoking rooms was awful; and the malfunctioning fan/air-conditioner (hah!) kept us up all night. If I ever get to this part of Florida again I'll sleep in my car before I stay here.

We stayed at this hotel August 2004. It was the absolute pits. I have never been to such a dirty,run down hotel, which claims to be 3 star. My Butt!The staff were unwilling to do anything about the state of the place. They informed us that the third floor had been renovated, but although the hotel was all but empty we could not be accomadated there. The carpets in the bedrooms would have been an insult to a dogs kennel. We were not the only guests unhappy with the lack of cleanliness , when another guest suggusted that she would be calling in the health department, the management just laughed.
I would not go there again if I won a free air ticket, and a limo from the airport to the hotel. It sucks!!
The other parts of America that we saw on our trip were fantastic, but this hotel is a let down to the beautiful area and the hospitality trade
