Stadium Inn & Suites, Kissimmee

Stayed 3 times, 2000, 2001 and 2002, 2001 a scottish chap and his american wife were running the place, enjoyed our stay they were friendly and helpful, place was clean and tidy and pool area was looked after, there is a denny's , a waffle house and a steak house within 50metres. Not sure what the place is like these days !! had to put 2004 no earlier date to enter !!.

This place doesn't look anything like the pictures!! It was really dirty inside. Thier was a pgymy rattle snake in the bathroom we had just checked in and had the room for an hour we asked for our money back because of the snake. She still charged us 33.00 room clean up because we had the room for over an hour. Absolutely ridiculous, we had 2 small children that could have been killed with a snake like this!! Do not stay here!!

Here is what I liked about the Stadium Inn and Suites: The bed was good to sleep on and the sheets were clean - this is very important to a good hotel stay. The room included a kitchenette. HBO, HBO2, and HBO3 were included in the room rate. The room seemed clean. The staff was nice, the price was inexpensive. The Bad: The floor in the kitchenette area was sticky. The mini-fridge didn't have a temperature control dial and wasn't cold. No breakfast available at hotel. No pool, and no computer and printer access. The hotel is around 14 miles from Disney and other parks.

The people are great and hospitable. It's close to the turnpike and not too far from area attractions. Great for high school functions as Gateway High is right next door.

Stayed here in early 2006. Convenient for our destination and main highways. Old and needs lots of TLC. Beds comfortable and clean. Bathroom clean. Kitchenette scarey. Curtains wouldn't close all the way - had to pin them across. Staff hardly spoke English. But would stay again, knowing all this, because of convenience and only there to sleep at night.

The pool was the nicest thing this place had going for it. When we stayed here in 2000 our two double beds were a sprung sleeper couch and a sprung murphy bed with no closing mechanism. Housekeeping was sketchy at best and the desk help spoke little english. Could be a nice place with a LOT of work but sounds as though little effort is being made.
