Red Roof Inn Spartanburg, Spartanburg

I had a confirmation for 2 rooms at a group rate. When I got there, I was told it was for 1 room only and that our group rate had been cancelled (however I was with a large group of which about 15 of the group were standing behind me in the lobby. I had confirmed my reservations by calling 3 separate times before arriving and they still messed it up. We asked to speak with the owner and we were told he was not there. Later in the conversation, he confessed that he is the owner. The rooms had a strange smell (like body odor and not mine!). The pool is the size of a postage stamp. They clearly edited the picture they posted on the internet. The entire experience was a joke. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
