Comfort Inn West, Maumee

The hotel lobby was nice, but the staff made the welcome less than. I was a supervisor at a hotel for 4 yrs & know what to expect from a hotel. We were put in a room with 1 bed & a sofa sleeper for my husband & I and our 4 kids. One of the kids that slept on the sofa practically fell through the end of it. We were told we could have a rollaway, but there wasn't a place to put it. That would have been a fire hazard anyway. The manager was not friendly at all in the morning when we explained to him we were leaving and why. We were supposed to stay for four nights. He didn't even try to make the situation any better & was rude. We continued our stay at the Comfort Inn on Toll Gate Dr & it was wonderful. We are scheduled to go there again soon.
