BEST WESTERN High Country Motor Inn, Freeburgh

We have been staying at this Motel for the last 5 years during the annual hot rod run and have been satisfied with it's ammenities.This year the new owners descided that the Hot Rod Run weekend will be changed to a 3 day weekend requiring that in the future you stay for 3 nights the reasons given were suspect to say the least. There was no recognition for loyalty nor appreciation for patronage. You might ask why we are compailning. No body likes the arragonce of being told take it or leave it, it is not a long weekend therefore you have to take time off work or drive late at night after work neither of these are conducuve to an enjoyable stay. I beleive that because it is a popular weekend that they are cashing in. Well not with me and my fiends, we are 5 couples which will not stay there again. Incidently we drove 100 meters further out of town and found a Motel with a delightfull young lady owner who was only to happy to book 5 rooms for next year at a 2 night stay.
