Hotel Paganelli, Venice

This hotel has great location being right on the grand canal and a two minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Our room was small (probably one of the smallest we stayed during our trip in Europe) but clean. The bathroom was really small too, the shower did not have a bottom lip so a lot ran out all over the bathroom. The staff was nice, helping us carry our luggage to our room. Though they gave a recommendation to a place to eat that wasn't that great. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean and excellent location!

This hotel and staff could not be more pleasant. Rooms are small but adequate. Very strategically located with vaperatto right outside door and two-minute walk to San Marco Square. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all... Thanks for the nice stay! Only thing lacking was internet access.

I just came back from a trip to Venice in autumn and stumbled across the Paganelli after experiencing central booking problems with another hotel. The Paganelli is charming. The location is waterfront with an interesting view of both water and pedestrian traffic. Room 206 has two near-ceiling height windows and a pleasant decor. We were blessed to find this room for one night, since the room was booked on either side of our stay. The lobby is a little outdated and the rooms a little older, but for the value, this hotel is a good bet.

I love this charming hotel and have been fortunate to have visited often. Location, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, etc. It is a jewel. I hesitate to write for fear that when I want a room, they will be booked.
