Days Inn Orlando Airport Florida Mall, Orlando

Where do I start. I don't mind typical tacky hotels, but this was beyond that. Rude clerks, paper-thin walls, hookers and thugs hanging out in the rooms which I assumed were being remodeled because they were trashed and the doors left wide open, NO hot water- the clerk stated that if we chose to stay it would be free of charge- he charged anyway and has refused thus far to refund the money or even attempt to mail a voucher, not that I would use it anyway. When we first entered the room and flipped the light switch there was almost an electrical fire, smoke filled the room from the AC unit, the smoke detector went off... it was a nightmare from the first moment till the last. I am forever done with any Days Inn. Sleep in your car or on a bench. Hope I've been some help.

It worked great. I was there on business and only had a few days. It was perfect distance from the airport to all my meetings and also to the Florida Mall so I could buy gifts to take home. I also noticed while I was there that it was a nice distance from the Amusement Parks and I might try to bring the family for a slightly longer trip next time.

The ONLY thing nice about this place is the woman in the front office. I guess she lives on the property. She was very sweet and kind. The room is very gross and outdated. The overall place is disgusting and scary. The location is on the bad side of town and it doesn't feel safe. I had no idea how awful this place was before I visited and they had already charged my credit card before I ever showed up... I highly recommend staying anywhere else but here!

I called a day prior to our check in for an early check in to our room so I could give my 21 month a nap and was told "no problem." When my family and I arrived to check in we were told our room was not ready. We waited 2 hours for it to be ready. When we finally checked in it did not even look clean! Our bed sheets looked soiled and wrinkled like someone had not even changed the sheets and just made up the bed. Our bathroom tub was full of mold and mildew. I never took off my shoes because the carpet was so stained up and when I took a walk with my 21 month to show him the fun kiddy pool we saw pictures of,it was not even filled with water, or functioning! It was all dried up! All in all I was not impressed nor did I feel safe at this hotel location. STAY ON INTERNATIONAL DRIVE...Its worth every penny!

Though the room itself was clean, everything else was falling apart. Rusted fixtures, electrical sockets falling out of the walls, wallpaper torn away from the walls and the rugs were a mess. For about $10.00 more I stayed at a Disney resort and it was immaculate.
