Motel 6, Gainesville

My hub and I needed a room for a short overnight during our move so we were pretty beat when we showed up. The room is the size of a postage stamp. The bedding looked dirty and the fitted sheets on the queen didn't fit at all. Not to mention the hole in the bottom sheet. We just stayed dressed the whole time! The entire place was filthy. We had one pillow even smaller than a postage stamp. No kleenex, no clock, but we did luck out with 2 towels. Very noisy. The one star is for the staff. Bring plenty of Purell or antiseptic wipes. If I had latex gloves, I would have worn them!

Clean and friendly..not big room but hey, not going to live there! Waffle House, Burger King, McD's, and convenient store right next to. Very accessible to University, or back onto I-75.

Grosss!! The shower had hair (not mine either)in it, the rooms were small & cramped, noisy, I wanted to go home & take a bleach bath.

Good value for the money. Would be happy to stay there again.

I usually won't stay at a Motel 6, being everything was booked up, we did. It was pretty clean and I am a very picky house keeper. It was s very small room for four people. One bed was up againt the a/c. My rear stayed cold all night. The staff was great. We got there around 7:00 am and they let us stay in a single free until our room came open. They were so nice. It was pretty quiet. They are conservative with their towels and wash cloths. Overall, I will stay at this motel again for the ASA Archery tournament next year. I think is was just removated. Good place to stay for the money.

This motel had been renovated, but it was just OK. The room was clean, but the cable tv had very few channels and unsavory guests hung around the parking lot. The wifi they advertise had a $2.99 per day fee not mentioned when making reservations. You find out about the fee when you call the office because you can't get your laptop online.

I was completely appauled at this motel 6!! The doors don't shut all the way and loudness throughout the night from the locals that live there!! The room was not cleaned very good and everything seemed old!! I will pay the extra 10-15 for the better motel next time!! NEED I SAY MORE!!

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights but barely. The second day we got up and were tempted to go to another hotel b/c the room was so cramped and felt dirty. Also, when the cleaning lady came she didn't leave any towels for us to use the second night! Customer service was good.. friendly. But I'd rather spend a couple extra bucks for a bigger/cleaner room.
