Great Relaxing B&B

We stayed here last week and had a great visit.
The house was amazing - over 100 years old, and the owners have taken great care to restore it in corresponding fashion. Instead of feeling stuffy, it has high ceilings and big rooms that make it spacious. The porch was probably my favorite part - it was so comfortable and inviting, like sitting on a friend's porch.
The grounds are also beautiful - the house is set back from the street giving the house nice privacy. They have a spacious front lawn with path and fountain, and the side lawn is framed by a beautiful overhanging white flowered vine.
Our room was great for 2 people, comfortable and cozy. It had a great bathroom with a big shower and nice tub. The bed was fantastically comfortable too.
The staff was also very nice - they really looked after us and made sure we had whatever we needed. We got to sit down with the owners and their love and dedication to their B&B really shows through.
Last but not least, the breakfast. Amazing! They have coffee, yogurt, and granola set out if you're a light eater, but if you want a real treat, stick around for the hot selections. The flavors are well thought out and portions are perfect - you don't feel overly stuffed. I recommend the sweet red pepper sauce omelet if they have it - just delicious! And the breakfast room was so nice.
Overall, a great place to stay. It is within walking distance to downtown Napa, and on a quiet residential street, so if you want to stroll around the neighborhood, there is a lot of Victorian architecture to check out.
