Very nice.

We felt that this place provided a great place to call home after hiking, sightseeing and shopping. Our cabin had a woodburning stove with a glass that we could enjoy a warm flickering flame. The cabin was well apointed, the kitchen had a microwave, stove, burners, toaster, corkscrew... just about everything you could think of. Staff were very friendly. A nice touch was on our arrival the fire was all set, we put one match to it and away we went, they delivered wood to us each day it seemed to be part of our room rate as we were not charged anything extra for wood. We were not on the creekside but the sound of the creek was easily heard at night and put the whole family to sleep!
On the mornings and evenings we were to tired to cook for ourselves the restaurant onsite has a great kids menu, and the breakfast was fantastic, the best pancakes our family has maybe ever enjoyed. The dining menu was also very good - try the duck it was fantastic!
We did look at several of the other accomodations in Lake Louise on our days out and compared Baker Creek to them, we were happy with our decision to stay a Baker Creek as we felt the price of the cabin was a great value. Will certainly book again the next time we come to the area.
The location was good, close to Lake Louise and Banff but not with any of the crowds. If you are heading out to Baker Creek I found that shopping in Canmore provided better prices and alternatives than either Banff or Lake Louise did. In hindsight stopping there on the way out from Calgary would have saved a few dollars and found the things that we wanted instead of settling for other food items.
