Very Poor Value

I think the first thing that surprised us is where the property is located. It is not in the middle of the wine country. In fact, it is barely on the edge in a rough part of the town of Napa. My wife and I tried to take a walk and were almost run over multiple times. I think the location is one of the biggest problems with this property.
The property is nice but it doesn't come close to living up to the price. For $650 per night you would expect a restaurant, room service, a pool or spa a fitness facility or at least someplace to run or walk without dying. If you just want to get a room, this is the place for you. Very poor amenities.
The staff attempts to make your stay comfortable but it is obvious that they are uncomfortable with the property. No one asks how you are enjoying your stay or what you think of the property.
When we tried to leave they prompty informed us that we would be charged for our entire stay whether we liked it or not. I would think that if certain guests didn't enjoy the property and requested to move that they would do everything possible to accomodate, otherwise the guests will feel trapped and will go out of their way to tell everyone they know what a bad experience they had.
I would strongly warn anyone thinking of staying at Milliken Creek to do as much research as possible before making their decision. It's not for everyone.
For the price they charge I would stay at Meadowood or Calistoga Ranch or even Auberge. They all blow this property away!
