Amy should not work in the service industry

I had phoned the Monte Verde Inn to inquire about a room for Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22. I was told there was a minimum 3 night stay, no exceptions. I phoned back the next day to make a reservation and the phone was answered by Amy. She told me that only 2 rooms were available and they were only available for Saturday night. I asked how that could be, since there was a 3 night minimum. Amy seemed pained to have to talk at all, let alone answer a question. She replied that perhaps some people didn't want to stay on Sunday night. When I told her that we really only had wanted to stay on Friday and Saturday and were repeatedly told there was a 3 night minimum her reply was, "Listen, I am REALLY tired and I am not interested in having this conversation with you." We have stayed at the Monte Verde on other occasions and can't fathom why they have this woman in their employ. Hotel guests were the last thing on her mind. Interesting that every other hotel we called in Carmel had no rooms available, but the Monte Verde wasn't totally booked.... Amy=F-
