The health Department

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. The first room the a/c didnt work, in the middle of the summer, and when i asked for them to look at it, it took 2 hours from them to come to the room. I was then moved to another room that was unfitt to stay in. The wall paper was rolling off the wall, the grout was missing from the bathroom floor, there was broken tile all over the bathroom floor, the carpet was wet and sticky, under the sink there was something that looked like throw up from an animal (maybe it was mold), every pc of furniture was broken in some way, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling, and the beds were missing all their sheets. The only good thing about this room was it had a brand new a/c unit in it. When I complained and asked to be moved to another room the manager tried to accuse me of dirtying this room and told me he wouldnt move me. When I told him I would take pictures and call the health board about it and then I wanted my money back he quickly switched me to another room. This time, I was put in a smoking (I do not smoke) king size bed room. I had my friend and my 1 yr old son with me. This room was clean but the tub didnt drain and the toilet wouldnt flush properly. I will never stay here again and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. There is a wonderful Holiday Inn across the street for $25 more a night and it is definatly worth the price for the safety and cleanliness.

stay at your own risk

water damage, stained ceilings, stained carpets, stained blankets, stained chairseats, smoke alarm cover missing, dangling wires, coffee in coffeepot from previous guest, wallpaper peeling at ceiling and around door, dresser drawers warped, no wifi 2 days, no extra toilet tissue, lucky to get clean sheets & pillows, had to keep going to front desk for clean towels, no customer service skills at front desk - clerks or manager, prepaid with group and others had similar problems with rooms and service, only booked with group because of 2 diamond AAA rating at time - they no longer have that rating!!! Pool area nice, looks nice from outside - don't be fooled.

Not Great

I would not stay here again. My room did not seem clean at all. Had to sleep on top of my covers. The sink would not stop running. There was food and junk in the A/C vent. Floors didn't seem like they were vacuumed. Bath tub look really dirty. White towels had black streaks on some of them.

Disgusting!!!!

We arrived at this place and it looked great from the outside. The lobby was even pretty nice as well. However, the second we stepped into our first room - we were appalled. We stepped into darkness - our lights didn't work, our TV didn't work, the toilet didn't flush and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. There were stains everywhere and tears in the carpet. We called the front desk and they moved us to room #2 and it didn't look nearly as bad as the first one until we went into the bathroom and realized that the floor was covered with water because of a leaking shower. I called the front desk again and the woman there was very apologetic and refunded our money which was definitely nice but this place is gross - I don't know how anyone could have stayed there. Lucky for us, a Hilton was right next door :)
 
 
 
 
 
Whatever you have to do, DO NOT Stay there!!!!!!!!

First of all they did not have our reservation. We called in advance to inform them that we would not be arriving at our original scheduled time and asked if we could check in 1 day later (our original reservation was for 05/01/08: We got there 05/02/08; we were made to pay for the night that we were not in the room). Also; we asked if we could add a room upon our arrival, again we were made to pay for that room too (even though no one slept in it). We asked about this in advance, and we were told that we would not be charged until we arrived. Upon our arrival the hotel manager had the worst disposition of anyone I'd ever encountered. We almost got into an argument with him. Our room was not what we expected. It was shoddy. When we asked for extra towels and toilet paper the manager was very rude and irritable. It took us almost 1 hour to receive them. The two days of our stay, our room was never cleaned, nor were we given towels. We had to ask for an ice bucket, and stationary. At first they could not find any, eventually we were able to get these items. When my daughter went up front to get some snacks, she overheard the manger arguing with another hotel guest. We were there for a wedding, and my nephew and his wife got into an argument with the manger about getting a room. They ended up having to wait for over an hour to obtain a room, and even though they purchased a double room the manager wanted to charge them and extra $10.00 for their son. Overall I would not give them one star. The manager is not suited to work with the public. I recommend that new management be hired, it might improve the overall atmosphere at your establisment!!

awful

This hotel was disgusting. First of all, the service was terrible. I prepaid on Orbitz and the hotel charged me as well. The room was filthy and run-down. Although the room was nonsmoking, it smelled terrible and there were cigarette holes in our blanket. We also found a pack of cigarettes and other trash on the floor. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. Overall, it was an awful experience for too much money.

Stay far away from this Hotel

My kids needed additional towels in the AM. We were told housekeeping doesn't start until 9:00am. No one has access to additional towels. Called front desk because toilet backed up; was told to come to the front desk to get a plunger; no maintenance staff available; A family member was locked out of her room; told by security they knew this room was a problem, yet they allowed her to stay in the room.They did not have keys to open the room. The primary problem was that it was after midnight and there were small kids locked in the room(went to get items from the vending machine).

Would not go back

It looked like a transient hotel, with families living in it. Electrical issues, dirty. Wake up call was not received and the General Manager did not respond to my complaint.

Extremely rude staff -- Horrible service

I had to spell my name at least 10 different time both when I made the reservation and when they tried to look up my reservation. My company had already entered an agreement with them to give us a special rate and they wouldn't honor the rate. Their staff was uncommonly rude and I will never stay at this hotel again.

Bad experience

After a 9.5 hour flight, arrived at hotel to be told by the night clerk, "you are going to have to wait your turn. Ramada Reservation has overbooked us by 4 rooms. We have no rooms available." The night clerk finally (after 2 hours)checked rooms manually and found 4 rooms. Rooms were filthy, smell of smoke, wall paper peeling off the walls, bath with mold and mildew. Stayed 4 nights. Room never made or cleaned until 3 to 4 PM. When checking out, because of early flight, tried to check out the night before, was told could not. Had to check out the morning I left. Arrived to check out and was told I had to wait because they were "running a report". Totally unsatisfactory stay.... No computer connection. Not a good value for the money!
