Courtyard Des Moines WestJordan Creek, West des Moines

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very courteous and check in was fast. The hotel is beautiful, well appointed and, most importantly, QUIET! I would recommend staying here if you actually expect to sleep in a hotel! It was great!

I was at the hotel the weekend of several events--boys' wrestling, girls' volleyball and girls' basketball. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire weekend. Even through some incidents, the staff maintained a smile and did their best to ensure excellent service to all guests. I had an fantastic experience with this hotel and I hope to visit again!

My family has been to Des Moines 10 times in the last year for wrestling or baseball tournaments and this place was the worst. The Hotel Staff was obnoxious and harassed several guests for trivial things. You are not allowed to prop your door open with the latch or you are threatened to be kicked out of the hotel. A family was kicked out of the hotel at midnight because they complained to management about their handling of multiple situations. Going back to Des Moines in a month for baseball and I am very happy my team is staying elsewhere.

I can't say enough about this hotel. The service was awesome from the get-go. They couldn't track down a luggage cart friday night when we checked in after sending two bell men after one so they found a different cart for me to use. :) The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. We had excellent rates both nights we stayed. The only problem I see is the lack of elevators. They have two main elevators but on a sunday morning when everyone is checking out, you wait forever. They definitely need another set on the other side of the hotel. Other than that we had an excellent time and we will definitely be returning.

I went for the state fair and we couldnt find a place to stay! We walked in the hotel and it was just beautiful! Everytime i got to Des Moines, Iowa i always stay at the Sheraton because it is so beautiful! I LOVE THE LOBBY AND ROOMS! lots of pillows and i love the elevator!

The staff is excellent and the recent renovations are beautiful. I like the convenient access off of I-35. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay!

Do not plan to have a wedding reception here, they gave me a contract to rent the ballroom for my wedding reception and then offered it to someone else out from under me. My contract stated it was mine until a certain date and then it would be released after that date if i hadn't signed it yet...well one day after i was given my contract they gave one to the other couple and called me to say i couldn't have it. What aweful business to do that to someone and to break a contract. I am telling everyone i know how aweful i was treated at this hotel.

Easy access off of I35 and I80. Great for business traveler. Kinkos, Office Max, nearby. Recent renovation from a Holiday Inn makes this a great place to stay

This hotel is super easy to get to. Close to everything. Huge beds with down comforters and tons of pillows. Very nice staff.
