Disgusting, overcharged and horrific.
We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was unbelievably horrible. We only stayed the first night because we had already paid. We left the second night at 5am because of our dissatisfaction with the hotel. We asked for a smoking room. Not a room that is now non smoking. There were cigarette burns all over the bath tub. There were 2 shower heads, one that was in use(which was horrible) and one that just hung there, not in use that was moldy and fowl. The shower curtain had mold spots on it too. Anything on the counter was soaked. The shower had NO water pressure what so ever. The bed was SO uncomfortable, It would have been better to sleep in our vehicle if it wasn't for my 10 month old son. The door didn't even make contact with the door frame when it was shut. I woke up to find crickets had crawled under the door in the room and on my clothes. The sink leaked everywhere. The remote didn't have a back and the batteries were held in with duct tape. Not that half of the buttons worked, cause they didn't. The volume had to be changed at the tv. And you could only channel down. I let my son walk in the room in his socks, and after 10 minutes they were black on the bottoms the floor was so disgusting. The heater/air smelled SO bad... not that it circulated throughout the room anyway because the curtains hung down over it. So you had to choose, either air/heat or privacy. There was no alarm clock? What hotel doesnt have a clock?!? And to top it all off, when we arrived home from vacation and checked our bank statement we see that we were charged an extra $7.00 5 days after we had checked out. We called and were told that it was an honest mistake that someone else had left a jacket and they shipped it back to the owner and we were accidentally charged for the shipping.... THEN the "supervisor" gets on the phone and says that the charge was for a ripped pillow??? We didnt even sleep under the covers because the room was SO nasty. There is Absolutely NO WAY we ripped a pillow. We spoke to someone, and he said that the charges will be back on our card by tomorrow. But we will believe it when we see it. It was just amazing that this place is even in business. I will be contacting the Department of Health as well as the Better Business Bureau regarding this unpleasant experience at this hotel. I promise they will never have my business again.
