Grand Targhee Resort is open for our 2012 summer season until September 30th. Our scenic chairlift operates 7 days a week, and the resort offers mountain bike trails, an outdoor pool and hot tub, rock climbing wall, horseback rides, dining, shopping, and much more. Three mountainside lodges provide bike-in/bike-out convenience to the slopes and trails at Grand Targhee Resort, with walking distance of every activity and center within the Resort. Offered with each accommodation is our heated outdoor pool and hot tub, open year round. Grand Targhee Resort is an ideal setting for group gatherings and business conferences, and it makes for an amazing wedding site. With our breathtaking scenery, clean air and our secluded feel, you will be able to step away from the stresses of everyday life in our idyllic alpine setting. Four separate meeting rooms of varying capacity and our mountainside conference tent combines over 9000 sq. ft of conference space. Our full time concierge and conference planners can arrange everything from accommodations to meals, activities, meeting rooms, theme parties, off-site world renowned fly fishing excursions, golfing, and mountain bike guided tours. Nestled beneath the peaks of the Grand Tetons, Alta is a 42 mile drive from Jackson Hole, and 100 miles from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
