Hotel Hacienda Vista Hermosa, Buenavista

I had to stay there this last weekend with my family. We went to a family wedding in a nearby Hacienda. We found that the hotel is beautiful outside, it has nice and well kept gardens, but that´s it. The room they gave us was filthy and smelly with moisture on the walls, so was the bathroom. There was no TV set and later I discovered that other rooms did have one. They quality of the room was that of a cheap road motel but with the rates of a Four Seasons. The worst came Saturday night. There was a party going on right below our window. A wedding celebration. It ended at 3am on Sunday. We could not sleep with noise of the wedding almost below our pillows. The drummer was very active. Complaining the following morning led to nothing. They told me that since I came with the wedding party of an "outside" wedding they had to put us up in the same row of rooms, so too bad, it was almost our fault. To say the least the food at their restaurant went from bad to mediocre. If you rent a hotel room for the purpose of a good night´s rest and sleeping AVOID THIS TOURIST TRAP.

i liked the atmosphere takes you back in time, excellent service , but no ac in the standard room u guess the like to keep it original witch i can understand for a historical landmark hotel. weather is usually perfect in that area of Mexico . will definitely stay there again, the pool, the scenery excellent.

ni hacienda hotel close to many activities horse riding water ski sky diving.. we had a blast.... its a quiet hotel but worth every penny...
