Days Inn Martinsburg, Martinsburg

Stayed here on our way down from NY to NC with my elderly mother. A party above us pulled the Fire Alarm, so we evacuted the room. Management did not come around to tell us we could go back in the room, had to hear it from another guest at the hotel. Then the fire alarm went off again about n 1/2 later. The hotel is dirty, and management was not nice at all. Manager would not work with us to get a partial reimbursement. He is giving this hotel a bad name. I would never stay at another Days Inn again.

very dingy and had holes in the bathroom door were someone had punched it. beds need replaced. Only had hot water. Sat on toilet and even that water was steaming hot. Kids could not get a drink as water was only hot. T.V. s turn to full volume every time you turn them on. and one channel has no volume. Staff seemed nice. but manager was hard to understand english and didnt seem concerned about nothing but collecting money. Allot better hotels in the area. Gives days inn a very bad name. Complained to them and they said it was a franchise and that they would have the hotel address my concerns within 7 days. never happened. Guess days inn is not worried about there name. I run a business and even if it was a franchise i would address it immediately. Guess they dont need the business
