Courtyard Raleigh Midtown, Raleigh

We really enjoyed staying here...especially the mornings in the lobby..and even throughout the day.. the breakfast was great! Starbucks coffee; spacious dining area, friendly staff; wonderful relaxing decor..I can't wait to go back again..one of my fav Marriotts! Oh and across from Trader Joe & less than 1 mile from N Hills Mall!! Perfect location!

We stayed at this hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday. The service was wonderful! All staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable! There was a pull out bed in the couch, so we did not need a roller bed for our daughter. It was centrally located to everything, so we did not have to travel far. The breakfast was not included and was priced at $9.95 per person for the buffet. But it was good. There were no pancakes, but you could make your own waffles. There were hot and cold items on the buffet. The fruit was fresh and delicious! There was a small workout facility, an indoor jacuzzi, and an outdoor pool. There was also fresh coffee and tea served throughout the day in the lobby. In addition, there was free internet connection in the room. So we were able to get some work done on this trip. We would definitely go back. It was well worth the price.

What a great place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly people. Great, great nights sleep on wonderful mattress. Look forward to returning.

We stayed at this Courtyard Marriott because it had the lowest price and it is in a convenient location. This is a very comfortable hotel – the bed being one of the most comfortable we have ever had. The HVAC was quite and effective and the room was nicely appointed. All-in-all a very nice, relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

I loved this place. Spent two nights in late May 2005. The service was friendly and prompt. The room and bathroom were clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and squeakless. The decor in the room was attractive and modern, as it was in the lobby and breakfast area. The location is convenient to major thoroughfares. The rate was reasonable. There is no room service, but there is 24/7 access to snacks and beverages (including wine) next to the front desk. There is a clean and cheerful fitness room next to a clean and attractive hot tub/whirlpool. The fitness room features fresh towels and a water cooler, plus a TV w/remote. There are only two treadmills, one stationary bike and a set of free weights, but it's sufficient and the environment is pleasant for working out. There is a window in the fitness room that look onto the hot tub room, which has a window to the outdoors. Thus, the fitness room has some natural light coming in via the hot tub room. The hot tub was pleasant to use, due to a high ceiling and window. As a result, you don't feel closed-in and the steam doesn't get overpowering. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it's worth the reasonable price, as it's fresh and extensive. The fresh fruit was truly fresh and the scrambled eggs were excellent. A number of other options, including custom orders such as eggs and waffles, were available. Here again service was outstanding. The outdoor pool looks very nice, but I didn't have a chance to use it.

This newly renovated property will give you more than you expect for the money. The staff are top notch. Breakfast is available at the courtyard cafe and is reasonably priced for the buffet.
