Rocky Top Village Inn, Gatlinburg

This place has a great location and is great for the money. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place that is close to downtown, this is the place for you! The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. They make their guests feel very comfortable. We will definitely be back and will stay with them again!!!!

Looks like a 50's Motor court. Small room, refrigerator didn't work (replaced with a working unit), little to no hot water (worked on water heater twice), cover for A/C-Heater wall unit fell off but didn't complain because I was able to use the blowing fan to dry my hair since there wasn't a hair dryer provided, everything was plugged into two hard to reach outlets, could not get a good WiFi signal, small TV (remote didn't work). Glad I didn't have to spend much time in room.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was clean, but dated. The staff was nice. I believe most of the furniture has been there since the '70s. We had to make a run to the local Walmart to buy foam for the beds, just to make them tolerable. We stayed in a "suite" and all three beds were hard as a rock.

stayed there last 4 years 3 or 4 days at a time .this time we were told (get out). because we -2 bikes started our harleys at 9:00 am. not trying to make noise. just warming up. we were treated very very rudely by manager in front of all other guests that were out. never stay there again.if you ride a harley dont go there.

We definitely had to work on a budget this year (and for under 100 bucks a night)all I can say is WOW, what a great deal for my family and I. The Rocky Top Hotel was so convenient! You are right smack dab in the middle of a world of fun and discovery! We will defiantly be back again!

I rely heavily on reviews to decide where my family will spend our hard earned money on vacation. Against my better judgement (because of several bad reviews), I chose this place because of location. BAD DECISION. Old and smelly. When I voiced a complaint with the room; I was treated terribly by the staff. Keep looking; better choices out there.

Rocky Top is a old hotel but is nice and clean. My husband and me have stayed there for 4 or 5 times. We find the location is great for our needs. The staff have always been very nice and eager to assist us in any way. The price is very reasonable.

the rooms look very nice on their webb site, what a joke, we checked in, room stunk, room really was bad, went to the office they gave us another room on the thrid floor, had my eighty year old mother with me ,it was hard for her to go up step's, when i know they had ground floor's, room next door, when they took a shower the water from the pipies in the wall would wake you up, it sounded like the wall was fixen to cave in , next the bed's was so bad you could not even get any sleep on then. For what they charged a night, they could up date this, get some new mattress, fix the pipes, never will i stay again, poor business!!!!!!!
