Motel 6 prides themselves on being the "lowest price of any national chain" of motels, but I can assure you by my recent stay in Motel 6 in Miles City, MT it was anything but inexpensive. While there was nothing wrong with the motel itself, other than older and typical of Motel 6's, the price alone would keep me from ever spending a night in that motel again! I wrote to the corporate office to share with them my concern, and did get a reply which made no apology or expressed concern, but merely said they support their policy to adjust each motel's price for events or times. It will be the last time I stay there!
Staff was nice but could not make up for the lack of cleanliness. My husband would not even change into pajamas to sleep in the bed and fought me for the pillow I brought from home. :( As we pulled out of town in,these.m i saw the nice shiny Holiday Inn.... next time that is where well be staying

The value actually wasn't that bad. rooms start at $35.00 without tax. The room smelled funny, the shower leaked, and the room seemed to be really cramped overall. If you just want a place to sleep for the night, this is it. no pool, no hot tub, no sauna, no bathtub (just a shower). It worked out well for us though. despite the smell and the leaky shower, the rest of the room was pretty clean.
