Yea, the reviews were right.

It was cheap, that's for sure and pretty much everything in our room worked, but it was so nasty we didn't want to touch anything. Truly, it was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. The cheap rates ended up not being so cheap after we bought our own sheets at Walmart and Lysol to spray everything down with and flipflops to wear in the shower. There were food wrappers and assorted other trash between the bed and nightstand - weird, chunky gunk in the shower and on the sink faucet, and some gnarly brown stuff on the bathroom floor. I can do cheap, basic, threadbare, but I cannot do dirty. My only expectation for my $45/night is clean. Hotels are already reknown for other people's body fluids on the beds and floors and stuff - I don't need visible reminders.
