Tetanus Shot Required
By Chris, 9/28/06
Absolutely FILTHY. Cleanliness was non existant!I am deaf in one ear and still had trouble sleeping due to the excessive highway noise. Bringing your own blankets and pillows would be a great idea if you were forced to stay here. My daughter who is 6 thought the place smelled like the monkey cage at the zoo. I am going to be in that area again in a few weeks and will never stay at this hole in the wall again. Location is convienent to the higway but so is sleeping in my van at a rest area. The area in which the hotel was located didn't appear to be one you wanted to be in late at night. It shares a parking lot with a Ramada Inn. The desk clerk was very pleasent as was the maintenence man. Poor guy, with the amount of work there is to be done at this facility I would guess he has plenty of job security.

STOP! DO NOT
By Carol, 7/22/06
DO NOT stay at this hotel. I can't believe Days Inn still allows its name on this hotel franchise. 1/2, yes ONE HALF of these rooms are facing I-71/75 in Cinci mere feet away. Two rows of parking, a fence and 8-lanes of never-ending 24/7 truck/car traffic. Couldn't sleep! Bathtub had mold growing on it for quite a while. Room hadn't been cleaned in days. Found a rolled up pair of white socks beside one bed and several dried up pieces of food items, (one was chicken breading, I think) was between the beds at the nightstand. When I went back to ask if there were any rooms on the other side of the building, she said no. But there wasn't maybe 20-25 cars in both parking lots. Who had these rooms, I don't know. You cannot pick which room you get when you book online and you can bet you will get the I-75 side! I note that a comment stated pool always closed, well it was open, but it was quite small, 2 kids swimming in it upon arrival and it looked full. Upon seeing room, completely disgusted, didn't even swim, went driving around looking for another place to stay next time thru. Might tent camp next time, accommodations would certainly be better! The rest of this message is for DAYS INN... pull your name off this place, it is ruining your reputation and I will now think twice before booking another of your hotels. I took the room because it was DAYS INN, you let me down!

Not too bad.
By Tingyue, 11/4/05
After reading some really bad reviews, I was a little jittery. I almost cancelled my reservation but I decided to give it a try. I stayed there in early November of 2005 for just one day. The side facing away from the interstate highway was not too noisy. The noise mostly came from the in-room A/C-heating. Furniture conditions were quite good in my room although towels were not soft and bed sheets were skinny. The room was quite clean. They offered decent breakfast. The staff appeared friendly. I got a nonsmoking room but it still smelled a little. They charge a $1 fee for the safe in the room even though you don't use it.

Don't even bother....RUN GO BACK!
By Debabe, 6/1/05
This place is a crying shame. What once was a cherished summer hideaway is now a complete nightmare. Everything needs great improvement...the carpets are stained with god only knows what the rooms are filthy the pool is NEVER open....always working on it! What a shame...the company should buckle down & clean this disgrace up.

DANGER STAY OUT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/3/05
This paticular days inn is disgusting.Everytyhing from the frat house looking carpet to the mold in the bathtub. When returning to the room for yhe second nights stay all the dirty laundry from the night before were left lying on the floor in a pile.Another suprise left by the incapable staff was ,to put it lightly, was a log in the toilet.I can't forget to leave out the fact that there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. The management team has no idea how to treat guest or their employees for that matter. The maid that attempted cleaning our room had the nerve to say that she did a thorough job cleaning and that we probably broke into the cleaning closet and stole sheets and towels just to toss them on the floor in our room. She also said she gives thorough cleanings to each room, all while she's saying this she's sitting behind the registrarion desk with her kid running around.Sort of makes you wonder that maybe the reason my room was a disaster and there was something floating in my toilet is because she's taking care of her kid more than she's taking care of her buissness which is one thing and one thing only CLEAN THE ROOMS! The bottom line is this place should be demolished and rebuilt if DAYS INN the corporation has any concern for their customers it's clear that the employees of Ft. Wright DAYS INN care less!
