Disappointed.
By ,
Pros: Near lots of shops and eateries Excellent customer service Great amenities: breakfast, bottle of wine, coffee bar Cons: Price to value ratio is poor Super LOUD air conditioners VERY noisy housekeeping staff Other entrances locked during day We came here for my husband to take a professional exam and decided to stay the night. The lobby is tastefully decorated and the coffee bar features tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The desk staff are unfailingly helpful. Breakfast consisted of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, grapes, bananas, chocolate/croissants, bagels, boiled eggs, cereal and granola, various juices and V8. You also get a complimentary bottle of wine in your room. However, the air conditioning unit in my room was HORRID! It kept me up all night. It would turn on, ding and clink for a bit, whir, blow some air, and then shut off....every 10 minutes or so. I would have turned it off, but then we would have frozen. When I reported this to the staff in the morning, they were concerned but obviously not TOO concerned. Also, the housekeeping staff is very, very loud. I don't know what that lady's problem was, but she didn't have to call loudly to her friends cleanind down the hall and use obscenities. I say that the price to value ratio is poor because we paid $209 for one night and I didn't get a wink of sleep between the loud housekeeping and the even louder air conditioner. If you overlook that, the overall experience was fine. There are many interesting shops within walking distance and some very fine dining options. I loved that my room overlooked the harbor (even if I saw several creepy old men peeking into the rooms from outside...) Just be careful and shut your blinds.

Beautiful Inn and Exceptional Staff
By ,
My husband and I decided to get away for one night and choose this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, on the day of check out, my husband experienced a medical emergency and needed to go to the hospital. The Owner was very accomodating to me and offered to keep a room available for me should I need to stay an additional night. I did stay the additional night and what a relief it was to know that I had accomodations! The Owner and Staff made a very stressful situation non-stressful. Thank you! The Inn is within a short stroll to Fells Point and we loved it. The Continental Breakfast was very good and they have a nice courtyard to sit outside and enjoy the morning paper. Can't wait to go back and stay again. I have recommended this destination to all of my friends as I know they will not be dissapointed.

a hidden treasure!

Awesome location for fun in Fells Point!--walk to to pubs, restaurants, water taxi. Atmosphere is super cozy and the staff is friendly & helpful. Free bottle of wine at check in was a nice touch. I almost hate to let everyone in on the secret, but this place is a wonderful find.

Just Wow!!!!!!
By ,
From the moment we walked in we were just in awe. This place is fabulous. Hotel staff was very nice and informed. Rooms are just marvelous. Had a great night sleep on the bed, was more comfortable then the bed I have at home. Room comes with a minibar with all the goodies, for a resonable price though. Upon your visit you are given a complimentary bottle of wine, and if you don't like what they gave you, you have your choice to chose from 2 reds/ 2 whites. I enjoyed the place very much. Has a beautiful garden in the middle of the Inn. Comes with a temporary parking pass at the marina which is right at the Inn which was very nice. Rooms were very clean, sheets were very nice and comfortable. This was a great deal and for the price, blows all the other hotels/Inns out of the Harbor. Great Service and would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Baltimore/Little Italy/Inner Harbor area.

Loved it!
By ,
We were pleasantly surprised from the moment I placed the call to book a room at the last minute. The service on the phone and in person was incredibly friendly and personable. The location was excellent, and the hotel rooms, and lobby were beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a great weekend, even though it was rainy, we were so impressed with the Inn. We also enjoyed their complimentary wine and Continental Breakfast, it was an unexpected perk.

FANTASTIC!
By ,
This hotel is nicely located at the end of Fells St. It's a short and enjoybale walk down the cobble streets to various restaurants and bars. I've stayed with this hotel 3 times and I will continue to only stay with them. Theyu prove to be the most courteous, most lavish hotel in Fells. Only once was I disappointed- our reservations were skewed- I had reserved 2 rooms and they only showed 1. Quite a problem when you're on a romantic getaway with another couple and the hotel is "booked". A quick phone call was made to the "main man", and we were given an additional room at no charge. Not only that- but the "main man" himself came in from a game of tennis to apologize for the inconvenience. If you have the pleasure to meet this English man- you'll be delighted. The rooms are LUSH! I have never had a better sleep in another hotel- The mattresses are top notch with feather beds! The rooms are filled with gobs of local food, treqats, alcohol, and souvenirs (at a respectable price) At night you can step out the front doors (maybe 30 ft.) and sit on a clean dock and relax to the sounds of the water and the soothing lights of the Bay (bring the free bottle of wine!) Free parking, free bottle of wine, fantastic free breakfast and very sweet staff...this is by far my choice for the best hotel in Fells. And you can trust this isn't some loaded critique written by an employee- I truly love this place.

I love this hotel
By ,
If and when I return to Baltimore, I'll be staying at this hotel. A renovated old warehouse right on the water, it's a beautiful space with everything you could want in a hotel room for not a lot of money. First driving up to it, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It is a big, old brick building after all. Walking into the lobby, I had a huge sigh of relief... It was elegantly simple, welcoming and relaxing. That's where you can also get an all-you-can-eat contintental breakfast each morning to enjoy either in the cozy sitting area or the garden patio. Folks at the front desk were always in great spirits and ready to help make your stay a better one, too. The room was even nicer. A huge comfy bed and a great big bathroom with top-of-the-line fixtures. There's also high-speed Internet, a fully stocked fridge with awesome treats inside and a big bathrobe! I was in heaven, especially after staying at the Harrington Hotel in D.C. for two nights. (See my other reviews.) More perks: There's enclosed (free) private parking for your car and the walk to downtown from this hotel is beautiful. You can walk right along the water, hop on a nearby water taxi or just enjoy all the great restaurants in Fells Point, where the hotel is located. Love it, love it, love it.

AMAZING
By ,
Thouroughly modern rooms in an old train warehouse, located on the water in the most charming old section of Fells Point Baltimore. interested? Well, you can't miss in this amazing place, within walking distance or water taxi distance to every Inner Harbor attraction. Welcome bottle of wine, free parking, great continental breakfast, and quiet comfy beautiful rooms. One of the best hiddden places I have ever stayed, and rates comparable to the major chains in the area.
