Nasty, Triflin', Dirty, and Infested...
By gloria, 02/11/09
All of this happened on August 3, 2008.... This is a very nasty and unhealthy hotel. Management doesn't care, the front desk staff are ghetto and trifling. I had my bridal party stay there along with other guest of the wedding and we did not get into our rooms until 4:00 am the morning of the wedding after being there since 10:00 pm after the rehearsal, trying to get the rooms right. They mixed all the rooms up, then they sent two of the guest to rooms that other guest were already in asleep in the beds. To make a long story short. We did not have our bachelorette party, hair/nails did not get done, and to top all that off, we got up at 6:00 am anyhow to go each breakfast, and while there, my sister and I were summons to my 80 yr old mother and 83 year old blind father's room because they woke up in a bed full of chinches (bedbugs) that had bit and rashed them up through the short time they laid there. The room was infested. So bad, the staff didn't want to go in there to clean up the room. One employee had on gloves and had to literally bag up my parents night clothes and put them in a garbage bag, and all the clothes they had laid out on the bed. The hotel management from the bottom to the top did not care, they tried to blow it off. We waited for 4 hour for a GM or DM who ever she was to come to our room to rectify the situation. I was a nervous wreck, we all ended up in one room that we felt was a bit cleaner than the others (had 3 rooms) to try to get ready for the wedding. I was crying, my parents were crying, the bridesmaids were crying, it was a mess. We were hungry and they had the nerve to give us a gift certificate after we asked for food for my Father who was a Diabetic, and for the wedding party because we missed breakfast because of the incident. We ended up eating McDonald's. The wedding was suppose to start at 3:00 pm it didn't start until 4:30 pm and most of the guest were tired and hungry, they left right after the ceremony and didn't come to the reception that didn't start until about 5:45 pm. There was wasted food, wasted money. The only good thing that they offered us was not to pay for the rooms and the exit out of that hell hole of a hotel. What ever you do, don't use this hotel for a wedding, family reunion, or any other event. You will be embarrased, believe me. It was a disaster. We called the police also to make sure that this situation was documented, and that they couldn't say it never happened. True Story.... Do Not Use This Hotel!!!!

Not bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/08
Basically clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was good. Warning--their free shuttle service needs work. We waited one night for 1.5 hours for the shuttle to pick us up from the Inner Harbor and 40 minutes the next night. They need to revamp their ininerary and how the shuttle is run. Overall, our stay was pleasant. Watch out... they charge for using the room safe!!

Average with a few disappointments
By Winston, 02/12/08
Nice room but carpet in my room was a little dirty, got a couple of splinters from the desk, the TV couldn't change channels above 30 which cuts out half of the channels available, Coin laundry was unmarked and hidden, and have to pay $10 a day to use the microwave and fridge in the room(that's a first).

Decent price, great room, could utilize more staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/10/07
The rooms are very good for the price. The location off I-95 at the bus terminal can be a plus if you don't need to be downtown. It was very quiet, except in the morning when the busses tend to blow their air hornsfor some reason. The employees are very friendly. The shuttle driver was wonderful, and there is no cost. The pool staff are First Responder, CPR and AED certified and very helpful. The dining room was cold, and the air conditioner was blowing cold air, instead of heat and after two days the maintenance staff seemend to find part of the problem. The free breakfast was good, with hot waffles, fresh fruit, cereal both hot and cold, sausage and eggs, english muffins, bagels, donuts, danish, juice, coffee , etc. The dining room staff needs to be increased as the waitress was running between the dining room and doing room service, instead of concentrating on the patrons of the restaurant, so the meals took a while to be served. You might go to A & W or Mc D. next door for a quick meal and bring it back to the room. You will have to walk around as the connecting door was padlocked. This door should probably have a card activation,as the computer room, pool and fitness room.

Balt Conference Center
By RED, 09/25/05
Friendly staff. Food is decent. Nice renovations. Awesome shuttle service to Inner Harbor. Much better than before the renivation in April '05. It is best that you taxi to the hotel from Airport; they have a good shuttle service to Iner Harbor with plenty to do.

Bad!!!!!!
By DCL, 08/25/05
Ok, the first thing I noticed was that this hotel is attached to a bus station. This is not fun when you are arriving very late and have shady people coming up to ask you for money. Next morning we woke up to a very cold shower...it seems as though there was a problem with the boiler. The front desk people were very rude and did not even apologize for the situation. One of the elevators was also broken and did not go to the 10th floor. The boiler problem happened twice more during the evenings while we were staying there...a total of four nights. The only good part was the rooms were clean. Overall, not worth the money!!!!!
