Anchorage Inns, South Burlington

I stayed at the Anchorage on 11/16 thru 11/18 and I can honestly say that the place was just fine... nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. I did NOT see any mold, mildew, bugs, or have any bad odors or stains in MY room. My linens and towels were spotless. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and my room was cleaned everyday . I did NOT experience any noisy, biligerent guests nor did I see any "riff-raff' hanging around....and I stayed there during a weekend !!!! The breakfast was basic, but suited my needs---- it had pastries, fruit, cereal, milk, assorted yogurts, coffee, tea, juice.... What more do you expect from a budget hotel ??? The only complaints I have is that the bathroom needs enlarging and an update, and my TV was an old-fashioned one and the color was a bit off, tint-wise-- but the remote worked just fine and had all of the cable channels...( but I don't really watch tv much anyway)...also the room could have benefitted from a mini fridge and small microwave I heard the place is under new managment, so maybe they will be added in the near future. I would stay here again... I give it a 7 or 8 out of 10....

I paid a high price for a one night stay and the room was at extreamly low quality. Pictures on the internet can fool you, be prepared to have a room that looks like it hasn't been touched since the 70's. LOUD people up and down the hallways all times day and night, old bedding and the room is dingy and smells. BETTER off paying the price somewhere else. Bathrooms are small and my bathroom was dirty, I had to clean it before I used it. BAD BAD BAD experience

This place was dirty and very strange vibe. There were students living on the lower level who had their laundry drying in the windows and the front desk help had friends hanging/visiting in the lobby and at the pool. The room was grubby and our door looked like it had been kicked in at some point.

Not the best hotel, but fairly clean, safe and good location. The pool could have been cleaner. Breakfast was simple but OK- coffee, cereal, donuts, milk and OJ. Staff was very nice. I would stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Anchorage Inn for 8 days. Location of Inn to shopping and local eateries is excellent. Staff very courteous and helpful. Especially liked the breakfast bar.

Stayed here on our way down to Hampton Beach , we were very happy staying here , lots of shopping , restaurants , clean , pool and at a great price !!!

We were not at all happy with our room at the Anchorage Inn. Not only did the room smell old and musty it made my son's allergies flare up. The small was less than desireable. The bathroom had rust in the shower and moldiness around the walls. The blanket on our bed had a hole in it also. There was a lot of slamming of the door outside our room but eventually that quieted down as the night went on. The service at the desk was quick and pleasant. The location was a plus but the room was horrible.

My wife and I stay at the Anchorage frequently and am very happy with all this hotel has to offer. Great Location Very Clean Good size rooms Nice Indoor pool 24 hr coffee/tea Super rates Very friendly staff and management. And more!!

Everytime we've stayed there it has been great for us . We are close to everything we need and the price makes it easy to afford .
