Fabulous Seven Motel, El Cajon

Okay...all honesty. I have stayed here a few times. Now...if you are blessed enough to get a room without bedbugs..you main concern will be other noisy customers. This is a church run motel. We have left our things downstairs while going upstairs to unload, and it was safe. Yes, there are alot of recovering ppl there, but they are with the church. This place is smoke-free, and it has a calm feeling about it. You can go into church services if you wish. But it is very loud on the Sunday service. There a alot of bikers, so you have to put up with very loud motorcycles. And yes, the furnishings are old. You are lucky if you get a remote with your TV..(and there is a $10 deposit on it). Most rooms do not have a microwave. Some do. And one or two have mini-fridges. The wiring is old so you might experience an outage. But they get on it pretty quickly. The phone acts up alot. Many times you cannot get an outside line and have to wait. Never figured that one out. There is supposed to be security. It depends on what you want them for. If your "neighboring" customers are being noisy...you won't get much help. But for anything serious, they'll come through. It's better than dealing with the bull of the "outside" world. Can't explain that any better. It's like a seperate area there. And we are expecting to go back soon. It is the only place we have in mind when we have to stay in a motel. Oh..bus is right outside-but sucks on weekends. Albertson's is a few blocks away. SET FREE-------- NOTW

basic bed -bath -tv - the resturant is no longer there --but feel free to sit in on the bible studies where the resturant use to be play ground for the kids and pool 24hr security - family atmosphere

This place had a basic bed that was clean, the shower stall was built for midgets, the shower head was about 40 inches off the ground. There was a table without a chair, there was a very small. very old TV, about 15 inch screen with no remote, the Air conditioner took forever to get the room cool, it was noisy, the directional fan was not existent, a wire mesh was scabbed over the exaust port, the windows had no lock in the bathroom, the floor mat for the shower a 10" by 15" sheet of thin paper. At least I didn't see any bugs and it was clean.

love the way that they have great service and good housekeeping staff and got to love the people at the front desk always in a good and positive mood,

i loved it because there was a good enviornment feeling around the motel also the rooms and the serivce from housekeeping was really good they also have a really good restaurant called emmas the staff there is really friendly and always cheerful
