Premier Inns, Concord

I was loving this hotel last night, Surry the late night front desk lady, was so sweet and nice. She gave me room at a great price, she was kind and accommodating. The room is clean and way nicer than motel 6. Everything was perfect till I called in the morning. I asked Mary the day time front desk to do a late check out at 1pm. She told me no and was very rude, she was yelling at me when I told her that I was offered a check out time at 1pm. She hung the phone. I called again to ask for towels she answered "what you want, im going to hang up again!" I never been treated like this ever at any hotels. She puts a bad name to this hotel. Once she is removed I will come back to this hotel.

I didn't even get a room. I had reserved a room for approximately three weeks, for Business. The Management was so unprofessional as to hold my room for 72 hours not knowing I had fell ill, traveling having no one to advocate for me, was unable to check in from the local Hospital ER. I did not expect them to hold the/a room for me. When I arrived I did not tell them I had previously made an extended reservation. I asked if they had a room available, to which the woman at the desk asked me to return in an hour. The Manager knocked on my car window and inquired as to who I was, if was the person who made a reservation and that they were going to charge my credit card because they lost three days business waiting for my arrival. I explained to her that I spent those days in the ER with a virus, on IV meds keeping me hydrated and if that was the way her Corporation did business, they would definitely hear from me. Hotels usually give up the reservation if a registrant does not confirm with ID in hand within one hour or other arrangements have been made. I would NEVER stay here for business or pleasure. It appears that guest workers are used for housekeeping staff and they had great difficulty in preparing/cleaning rooms in a timely manner. It was also explained to me that workers from out of town had taken up their rooms and I had been asked to return twice. A waste of time, but not enough to write this or to report to their corporate management to which I was told "go ahead they will support me!" by the Manager. It appears that this particular Hotel prefers Corporate Customers.

We have found Premier, Concord to be excellent in all areas. The staff is always friendly and helpful with special needs. The spa is wonderful - always clean. We have stayed here three times over the last three years and will again in June this year.
