Devonshire Inn Motel, Rosamond

The rooms are comftable and clean but the prices are very high the manager tried to get me a better rate but still $85 for room in desert thats to much i rather go stay in holiday inn or hampton inn they charge almost same but the manager (sara) was very friendly and helpful will go stay again......

I've stayed at this motel many times, The Mgr, Jan, is really nice & acommodating. I've stayed in a few different rooms and they'ves always been clean & comfortable. It's quiet and peaceful. The price is also reasonable. I will be back!

I stayed at the Devonshire for one night. The manager (Jan) was great, very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and up-to-date. This hotel is a great location for Willow Springs Int'l Raceway and convenient but not too close to the freeway. Great value, great experience. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in the area.

I stayed for one night (2-17-10) and had a great experience. The Mgr Jan was friendly and helpful. The room was cleaner than most hotels I have stayed in for twice the price. The location is great for Willow Springs Int'l Raceway and the value was a big plus. I would recommend Devonshire Inn to anyone and will definitely stay there again.

These people are RUDE, RUDE AND RUDE!!! When people called and asked for our room number they asked who was calling. Every Conversation with them was them acting like they were doing us a favor for staying there and we were paying 95.00 plus tax a night for this Nasty Motel. Everyone who called us asked why the people at the front desk were so Rude. Honestly, we couldn't tell you!!! We left after 4 nights and went to Lancaster. I would NOT STAY at this Motel. It's worth it to just get a room in Lancaster. The Maid bangs on the door at 8 am to clean and if you do not leave the premises she will not clean your room. We were told we were to work around they're schedule not ours. We had a 4 week old baby. They could have cared Less!!! We needed a room for 3 weeks due to water damage to our house. Luckily we were able to move again. It was a hassle, but there was no way we could have stayed at that Nasty Place another night. These people no NOTHING about Customer Service!!!

They give a discount if you are racing at Willow Springs. It is priced about the same as other motels in Lancaster of the same quality. The breakfast is not as complete as where I stayed before but it saves me a 20 minute drive.

Although I didn't keep my reservation, the staff - the manager, Jan was incredible helpful and professional! She helped me find a place that could give me the 2 nites I needed, and couldn't have been more gracious and nice. I was very surprised by the service...and will definitley stay here in the future. I recommend people give it a try -- I think you will be pleasantly surprised! Jan and her husband are the "new mgt" and are very serious about being a top-notch place...and their service was absolutely top-notch!

Have stayed at Devonhire Inn on 10-08-09 and find it to be a nice plaece to stay. New management is taking steps to upgrade and fix any problems with the facililty. Close to Edwards and the race track. Also right off the freeway. Very quiet and clean. Managers couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. I would recommend this motel to family and friends.

The place was clean and the staff was wonderful. Would stay there again. The pool was great and clean. They offered danish and coffee in the morning. I especially liked the coffe pots in the rooms. There were new fridges and microwaves in the room. Overall I had a wonderful time there.

Reserved the room for 5 nights with a credit card. Upon arrival, resv was for 1 night and a double room. I was told not to touch the other bed or they would charge me! They then incorrectly booked the room again for 4 nights. They said they tried to call, which they did not, and said that I was lucky that no one else needed the room and they charged my card for another night. Room was dirty, the pool was dirty and there is an envelope asking for tips in writing! The Managment staff was extremly rude! I have never had such and experience while traveling.
