As a midwest traveler, I am not used to paying a lot for hotels, etc. I booked this hotel for 2 reasons. 1. the price 2. the access to my daughter in Orange. The front desk clerk actually broke my husbands drivers license while we checked in. No kidding. He just kept wiggling it back and forth until it cracked. The electrical in the room was scary. everything was hooked up to an outlet box that protruded from the wall loose, and than they were attached to a surge strip. Doors were not secure and the keys did not work. We helped others get into their rooms as well. The housekeepers did a great job under the circumstances. Stay somewhere else if you can.

Do not honor reservations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/07
We made reservations and to our surprise when we arrived they had no record of our reservation and had no vacancies. Manager was rude and not at all helpful. We are not familar with the area and had to drive around for 2 hours at 3:00 am looking for a vacant hotel (which is why we wanted to make reservations in the first place). I understand mistakes happen and they might have 'misplaced' our reservation but he could at least showed some empathy.

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/07
The GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY. GOOD = Inexpensive and well located for Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, Angels Staduim. Nearby resturants. Room comfortable. BAD = room missing a lot of little things; no TV listing, no in-hotel phone listing/ instruction, no suitcase luggage racks. Fridge did not work. Iron and ironning board not available and no follow-up call as promised. Ice $.50 a bucket. Untrained, unprofessional and inattentive reception personnel. UGLY = Bathroom had multiple unfinished repairs. Small parking spaces not suitable for SUV or fullsized P/U. Dangerous cross traffic entrance from the North. Obviously a family run business that could make numerous small improvements which would go a long way without costing much. I would only stay again on a one night late arrival/early departure trip. Not recommended for family staying for multiple nights. We stayed one night and found other accommodations

The room that I saty at was very clean! Of course it's not a 5 star hotel ...You do get what you pay for. I will go again there when I need some personal time off. I did like it!!

great service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/06
The service was great and the prices were low, for weekends. The rooms are big and clean. The location is the best part of this motel. It is near the 55 and 22 freeways.

We use it on most trios to the area.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/05
It's in Orange where we often go. It's close to the 55 freeway that we use to go to Newport Beach. It's ony a few miles south of Katella which is a direct route to Disneyland. It is inexppensive and clean. There are many nice resturants in the area.
