Days Inn Lompoc CA, Lompoc

The place is clean i have kids so that is very important and its a plus since they have a indoor pool their places to eat that are walking distance so over all its a good place to stay for the price....

This Days Inn was very welcoming, I loved the nice breakfast with lots of good things to eat even during the day its like a snack bar. The Indoor pool was the best, it was clean and safe. The staff treated us with respect and gave us what we asked for. The rooms were nice and clean the beds had a really cozy warm blanket and the bathrooms were spotless. The fitness center was nice and clean and very organized. The hotel isn't luxury but sure has a cozy feeling to it. The Wendys right to the hotel made the hotel better and the location was quiet and we went during July it was gloomy and chilly but once your inside nothing is felt. Also there is a Wal-Mart 2 blocks down aswell as other stores.

Saw the other poor review [2005] and wanted to give it a recent review [June 2008]. In Lompoc on business [self-employed--no company expense acct]. Usually stay at Embassy Suites or Marriott properties. Days Inn was very clean [#1 priority on my list], rooms large/spacious, furnishings and carpet fairly new and in very good shape. Good use of bathroom space [shower instead of tub], microwave, coffeemaker, mini-fridge.[all worked well], bathroom amenities [not just soap]. Sheets were ironed! Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Complimentary bkfst a little lacking, but many places in walking distance to eat. Definitely worth the money saved.
