Motel Lyles, Wenatchee

Good thing it was cheap. Bad things--old, small, noisy, not maintained, no room service, only one English speaking attendant, kid's bicycles chained to posts and junk sitting around. Probably would not pass a building or sanitary inspection.

as the previous reviews mentioned, it was great for its price. The stay was definitely worth the money, and it was cheaper then I had expected. They gave me a discount, for no apparent reason also. The only problem was with the service, the manager of the place didn't speak very fluent English. Other than that, everything was terrific. I tried to check in with the other places around there such as travellodge, redlion super 8 and they were all way over my budget. This place isn't a luxurious motel, it's just a great place to stay for its price. Also it looks as if they had done some re modeling, because it looks a little different from the pictures posted.

What I liked about the motel was the location. Just like it's mentioned a few comments below. Everything I really needed was at a walking distance. It was quite a descent motel for it's price of 45 dollars. I wouldn't expect more from it. I checked out the other motels/hotels in the area, such as the Travellodge, Redlion (which was way to expensive), Super 8 and Value Inn. I didn't find Motel Lyles as the best motel/hotel it the area, but it was definetly the best suited for its price. The motel had everything I really needed. The rooms look just like the pictures posted. I didn't have any problems with the cleaness,value,or location. I guess the only small problem was with the service. The manager didn't seem to understand english all to well and his hispanic accent was somewhat difficult for me to understand., but it worked out. I got what I wanted, which was a cheap and comfortable place to stay for the week while I go fishing and eat delicious Wenatchee cherries.

First off let me point out the top review here is from the owner. I am no genious but the screen name is the same as his yahoo e-mail address. I set up my whole softball team to stay here. The first people to show up got in there room and first thing they noticed was the holes and rips in the carpet. Then upon further inspection they noticed holes in the bedding. Then they ventured into the bathroom.... They opened the window and what did they see? They saw the garage. When we arrived they showed us and I immediately took a look through the window in the bathroom and made eye contact with some guy working on something. We walked out and tried to get a refund. This is where the cops got involved ( I called them on the owner ). He seemed to think it was okay to get in my wifes face to have her leave when we called him on some less that ethical way of getting half the refund..... Long story short, this place is disgusting. Using swear words would make me sound less intelligent but I really should use some here. The 1 rating I gave is only because there is no 0.

The service was nice, and the room was clean. I loved the location, becauase everything was at a walking distance. I mean this is all you really need for a room that only $45.00+tax.

I stayed at Motel Lyles at March 22, 08. The room was amazing for it's price. The room was clean and warm. I mean thats pretty much all you need for a nights stay, and for the price as well. Which is $45.00+tax. The location is also very nice, pretty much everything you need is at a walking distance.

When I came here last time it was not as good but 3days ago I have work nearby and rented the motel with my friend they had a good time and I had a better time then before so I will go to this motel and stay around to work if I have to and also from my opinion it was the cheap and clean place.

The last time i had came here everything was filthy, this was on May of 07, i came back here, and found that everything had been remodeled. The carpets, walls painted,new furniture, new matress, everything was new. The owner had changed as well. He is very cheerful, and treated me kindly.
