Great Stay For Mom And Daughter
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/07
I really enjoyed our stay at the Motel. I can't think of a bad thing about it. The view of the mountains was fabulous. I had a worship service while I looked at the mountains. I thank God for the opportunity of being ther. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to get back to work. I will see you again soon.

Friendly and flexible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
This is an older motel that is conveniently located to old Colorado Springs as well as the main route to town. The employees are friendly and helpful. When we found our room was located over the pool, the desk clerk moved us to a cottage for slightly more money. The cottage had two bedrooms, and a nice private bathroom. The breakfast selection wasn't that plentiful, but we found things we liked. We would stay here again.

Wonderful!
By Judy, 08/13/06
Probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed at! Billy and Lucy were very friendly and helpful. Indoor pool is a plus. View of Pike's Peak from your doorway! So close to all the area attractions! Will definitely go back!

WHAT A VIEW!!!
This hotel has it all for the budget traveler. If you are looking for 5star amenities, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a nice place to stay within a real vacation budget, this is the place. The room was big enough for me, my girlfriend, and her little boy. The pool is fairly modern, and indoors for a chilly night. The location of the hotel is PERFECT. It really is a short walk into historic Colo Spgs. It is also a short drive from Historic Manitou springs. Both neat little towns. very close to Pikes Peak Cog Railway (10 minutes tops) and the cliff dweller village up on 24. I asked for a room with a view when I booked the trip and they put me on the 2nd floor (I recommend it) We could see the Garden of the Gods in the distance, And there was a great HUGE mountain right out our front door. The management was very helpful, and even pointed us in the direction of a few good restaurants. If I go back to Colo Spgs, I'm definitely staying here.

BE CAREFUL Staying here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/05
When we first made the reservations we were lead to believe this was part of the Garden of the Gods, it is not. When we arrived we were given a room above the office, small, no windows and dirty. Then the surprise we found a bag full of XXX rated videos, pictures of the guest that stayed in the room the night before. Guess the maid didn't check and clean this room very well. We took the items to the office demanded a refund and got out of there quickly.

Beware
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/05
Had reservations and couldn't make it due to a death in the family. The person I talked to wasn't very helpful. All he could say was that this was a AAA motel and they had the right to charge for one night's stay under any circumstances. I understand policy but feel that there should be some exceptions made when something tragic happens. If and when I do get to go to Colorado Springs I would not even consider staying at this motel.

Great Experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/05
The management was so kind and helpful. The facilities were spotless. The overall family atmosphere of the place was very refreshing. . . reminded me of family vacations when I was a child.
