Rodeway Inn, Watertown

I like this place because it's been newly remodeled. The rooms are clean and still smell new. The bed was very comfortable. From the moment we entered the door we felt welcomed. The front desk staff was wonderful. They helped with special requests adn seemed willing to go out of their way to make us comfortable. We ate in the Zoom Zoom room. The food was super good!

I choose to stay here on a night that I got stranded on business. The rooms are really small but newly remodeled and very clean. The hole hotel and restaurant has just had a big remodel. The people are super nice and the restaurant is great. It is the only place I will stay for my business trips in the area from now on.

We took one look at this hotel and decided to find another. It was disgusting from the outset with the dirty windows and entrance. There was some serious water damage from the looks of things. The ceiling tiles had water damage stains, the carpet was bunched with fans on it, and the whole hotel smelled awful, like mildew and mold. On top of all this, the hotel was under construction and downright dangerous if you have kids walking around. The room had newer beds, but it was lipstick on a pig. Needless to say, we found another hotel. Of course, the front desk lady was rather rude to me as I canceled the room. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some bad ones while in college.

It was a good value, very convenient location, excellent restaurant, nice enough room, but the big downside was that the bed was not comfortable. It is ok for 1 person, but with 2 people you sink into it--no support. We would love to stay there again if the beds were of a better quality. If not for the bed, we would give this hotel an excellent rating.
