Settle Inn La Crosse, La Crosse

I was very much so disappointed in this hotel...We were with a school event and ended up having family come from different areas to get together. First of all, we checked in and the room had garbage in the wardrobe...Housekeeping was very quick to straighten up that problem. The women who works at the breakfast counter and helping with making and stocking food was great. The front desk was extremely unprofessional! They insisted that we hadn't paid for our room and we clearly showed them that it was charged on our accounts...Then to find out the next day we had been charged twice on our credit card for the same room. The Management did not eleviate the problem by being rude when we called about this issue. I am terribly disappointed and would never recommend this hotel to anybody! We are still waiting for an apology...Pretty sure that they are not going to do that and would think that we will have other events to attend in LaCrosse and would think that they would give it a thought!!!!!!!

Wow! This is the first bad review I have ever done, but want to set the record straight. Forget and disregard representations by this hotel. Just stayed at the Settle Inn Lacrosse. As advertised microwave and refrigerator...Not. WIFI...Not Very tired room with the worst swayback bed ever. My wife slept in the bed and I spent the night in the recliner that was broken and did not recline. Neither of us got much sleep. I woke up with mysterious bites on my arm.

We stay here anytime we're in La Crosse to visit family. It's not overly fancy but you get a pleasant experience for a great value! It's always been clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, the breakfast food (especially the waffles)is yummy, and the pool and hot tub are great!
