Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Westlake, Westlake

As I am typing this review, I am currently staying in one of the rooms at the hotel. I have been positively surprised by this hotel. I have never before stayed in a hotel in this price category with rooms that are tastefully decorated and have contemporary (modern) furniture. I am sitting in a comfortable office chair with my laptop placed on a spacious desk. (Believe it or not, the setup is actually conducive to getting work done!) Even though the hotel is located right off I-90, the sound insulation is so effective that I can hardly hear the traffic. (Granted, I have one of the rooms furthest away from the road. I would recommend requesting such a room when making your reservation.) In summary: Very pleasant and clean rooms. If all "redesigned rededicated" Red Roof Inns are similar to this one, I think this hotel chain will pose a serious danger to competing budget hotels!
